Hypnotize Diablo and put him to sleep. This should work as long as he looks at Hypno.

---Team 1 VS Team 2---
(A little rusty on Diablo, since it's been a while since I played Diablo 2. At first thought he was immune to status effects, but after finding an old site I was using to get all my info on the game, it seems he has no immunity.)
Hypno makes Diablo fall asleep as Shulk use Monade Eater on him. The giant devil starts to bleed, as Bouldergeist throws rocks at both Hypno and Shulk, hitting them.
Bouldergeist ends his turn by creating his two hands.

Oh, he attacked Diablo. Whoops! I meant to put the one he wasn't fighting to sleep, but this works too.
Hypno will use his psychic powers to control Diablo's sleeping body and make him attack Boldergeist with the strongest attack he has.

Hypno will use his psychic powers to control Diablo's sleeping body and make him attack Boldergeist with the strongest attack he has. (Wait... Is this Pokemon Hypno? Which attack lets you do that? (I'll let you do that either way, I take a lot of liberty with NPCs abilities myself, just want to make sure I see the right Hypno when I imagine the battles xd)) |

(Yes, it is. I'm going more on PMD L/S logic here though and using Confusion to psychic control my opponent like we've seen Markus do. It can also be used to shoot psychic beams. By the way, my Hypno knows the moves Confusion, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, and Mega Punch right now. Just thought I'd tell you for when you ask later. Confusion will probably be replaced by Psychic once I progress more though. Anyway, I'm using his general psychic abilities as well as the attacks so I'm not super limited. So he can control and moves thing with his mind, shoot psychic beams, put enemies to sleep, hypnotize enemies into thinking they are something they are not, eat the dreams of an enemy to somehow damage it and restore health, and punch with powerful force.)

Markus controlled someone's mind??? Controlled their body with psychic powers. He smashed a Pidgey around with it once. He threw it into another Pidgey I think during that Monster House. Hypno wouldn't have been able to have full control of Diablo's body if he wasn't asleep. Since he's asleep, there's no resistance to the psychic control of his body. It's not controlling his mind, it's just using telekinesis to control his body. |

(PS on sleep: It doesn't work like Pokemon, but like Monster Hunter. Anyone of falls asleep stays asleep until they are hit by an attack or the RNG makes them wake up.)
Diablo walks towards Bouldergeist, punches him really hard, letting out a massive blast of electricity. This is Diablo's strongest attack, but since Bouldergeist is made of rocks, it doesn't do as much damage as it should have. It staggers the rocky ghost preventing him from attacking though.
Shulk attack one the rocky hand with Air Slash. It cracks, but doesn't break.
Diablo wakes up.

Hypno will use his psychic abilities to send any incoming projectiles flying back at enemies before using Mega Punch to launch Bouldergeist into Diablo.

Shulk will Wait for the Cooldown on the monado to end and then use Monado Buster on bouldergeist
(Buster deals Great Damage in a straight line. Machines Suffer double Damage)

(I need to know what Shulk's greatest fear would be) In a heart to heart with Reyn. It ia revealed that shulk is afraid pf caterpillers. This fear was caused by Reyn hiding one is Shulk's Sock drawer |
