I think the theme park will be great.
I try to have my characters discuss with other characters as much as possible, but it seems the action moves too fast to have any actual conversations.
This will be a great moment to actually develop our characters!
I think Talia needs it the most.

That power is unique to Joey and the limitations were placed so he couldn't one shot every boss.

When it's time to choose the parties, you should start filling them with the NPCs important for that story arc BEFORE the players actually make their characters join a party. This way, us as players have to choose which of our characters join the quest.
The limited spots made from the inclusion of the NPCs will force us to limit ourselves, because every player should be part of at least 1 party.
Example: For fighting Zana, Ashley would be required for the hero of light party. Sci and Keth would probably join too to support Malik. That's 3 spots right here taken by NPCs, which means that 3 player hero of lights will have to sit this one out.

But what do we do with the characters not in an active party? And how do I deal with overwhelming moments like now when everyone is free to do whatever they want because they're in a safe zone?

They stay on the ship doing nothing. If someone wants to discuss with other player characters or NPCs on the ship, it would be in a different topic, so it wouldn't be that bad. As for moments like now... Well, everyone is separated in different attractions. You could update the card games until they end, then move 9n to the roller coaster until it ends, then Chocobo Race, then Chocobo petting area. Everything happens at the same time, so timeline wise, doing them one by one wouldn't affect anything. |

I'm open to help if you tell me how I can help.
As for my characters, I have a few I wouldn't mind removing from the adventure.
-Malik could become the new Sylvia and simply stay on the ship to heal the wounded.
-Jeremy being an adventurer is definitely not necessary.
-Namo can easily ditch the group to never be seen for the rest of the game.
-Yzza was originally planned to only wake up at the end of the game, I could have her help Treblig until she recovers.
-Gugu is a joke character. While I like him, I wouldn't mind losing him either.
This would leave:
1.Talia
2.Hector and Gaor
3.Raza
4.Zana
5.Varon Helios
6.Ocram
Optional 7.Gugu
Optional 8.Balynka (I have regrets making her an NPC)

Well, for the most part, I just need help with keeping track of all the inventory. I tend to get behind or just not update much. I also need someone to update the shops with new weapons and items. I'm pretty much out of ideas. I'm not that creative beyond the basics or custom weapons. I also need someone to run the sidequests that are not main story related. I can run story related quests and the reversal world well, but I feel like then there's sort of either a lame sidequest without much thought put into it or a bunch of people doing nothing.
