Terran - Terraius

Prologue: The Vessels Awaken



Another busy day in the huge city of Terran. Within the last twenty years, Terran grew to become the largest city on the continent of Terraius. Still an incredibly popular destination for adventurers, there are many shops and buildings accommodating to them. A master weapon and armor smith that was here since the construction of Terran sells only the best hand crafted weapons. An item shop run by a kind woman has replaced Cheri's old one. Balynka's Tavern is incredibly popular and holds the new request board, where people put up quests and pay adventurers for helping out. Today is a different day than usual, however...

Overhead, a large, red crystal can be seen falling from the sky. Many of the townspeople notice it in amazement. As the crystal falls to the earth, a loud crash is made. It seems to have landed in the middle of Flowery Fields. That place is very dangerous and monsters roam around there. With the townspeople getting worried and starting to gather around, it's up to the Royal Guard to calm them down. Lupis stand with the other knights, trying to calm the people, explaining that they will send out a search team to check things out. With the other dragon riders heading out, the townspeople continue to stand around, worried. Many ask questions, but there aren't really any answers just yet. But through all the commotion, there are two that notice and plan on seeing the crystal themselves...

Reyol and Forrest stand amongst the crowd, looking to each other. "Did you hear that, Forrest!? A crystal just fell from the sky and crashed right into the Flowery Fields! We have to check it out!" Kress looks up at her and tilts his head with a slight whine. "Oh, don't be such a fun killer, Kress. Of course it's safe! We know how to fight just fine! It's just the Flowery Fields. Besides, dad is busy dealing with the big crows and mom is visiting Aunt Sylvia. There's no way we'll get in trouble! Come on! Please! This could be the great adventure that we've always wanted! Monsters! Heroes! Exploration! Princes! Princes..." Kress barks. "Oh, right! That crystal! Let's go, Forrest!" Without giving him much of a choice, Reyol grabs Forrest's arm and starts dragging him through the large crowd and the city. They run past Ashley and Malik's clinic, where Zana and Jeremy are helping Ashley restock on some medical herbs.

"Thank you, Zana. You can put those right over there with the dragonfire root. Oh, Jeremy! Careful! Don't drop the Snap Leaves or they'll freeze over the entire floor! Zana, could you hand me that flower over there? The Snowbell? I need it for this potion. Hopefully it will cure my patient's sickness. Or it might make his hair turn bright pink..." Nova walks in, buying a set of potions for her father and his magic experiments. "Here you go, Nova. These should be the potions Kick ordered. Make sure you don't get any on you. They could cause a bad rash." As Nova heads out to bring the potions to her father, she passes by a mysterious girl wearing lunar robes. Raven walks quietly along the streets. It doesn't look like the cultists are following her anymore. This town could be a safe place to stay for now. Walking along, she suddenly bumps into a man wearing a mech suit. Those aren't found too often. As he helps her up, he tells her his name is Forbit. Apparently neither of them are that used to this town yet. Not far from them, Mica and Nick appear to be grocery shopping together with Aqua following along...

(This is just sort of an opening. You won't have to be doing things like this. It's just showing a little bit of what life is like in the new Terran.)

Forrest shakes his head and shrugs as he's dragged along, motioning for Koko to follow.
Lupis deals with whatever you meant by "those big crows".

Go into the house.

Nova heads back to her home with potions in hand.
"I should hurry and get these back to dad. It won't do good to keep him waiting."

Get a pot and plant one of those beans in it.

Joey plants his coffee beans. There. Now it will one day grow into coffee. Probably.

Joey goes outside and walks around, avoiding the gigantic panicked crowd.
