(This is weird... I'm 100% sure I wrote that Gugu was using Makeshift Shield again to limit damage, but I looked through my posts and I didn't...)

Gugu makes a shield out of nearby stone rubble while Forrest starts running around Infernus, hitting him with his weapon. Infernus throws three giant flame balls at him that Forrest dodges, but they then unexpectedly explode, knocking him out due to his low Resistance. Reyol comes running in to take his place while Indigo runs in and smacks Infernus with his axe. It's a critical hit! Aqua comes charging in past Nick and chomps down on Infernus, learning a new attack. He can now unleash a combo of powerful fire element physical attacks. Rix steps back as Raven takes his place, shooting water at Infernus. It looks like the water was extra effective. Infernus is surrounded by incredibly strong flames suddenly! His unknown source of power is even stronger. The flames around him turn blue.
Sylvia calls down a storm of ice meteors, defeating the rest of the Fire Spirits and damaging Ifrit. Paul creates a whirlpool of water across the ground, making the flames go out. Malik starts to run from the lava crags under them as they erupt into a giant pillar of flames and flaming rocks are launched up in the sky. Azure takes an Offensive Stance and slashes multiple times at Ifrit. Lupis was ready to protect his allies, but it seems nobody was hit by any attacks this turn. Malik activates his Limit Break as holy light fills the area and white feathers rain down from above, fully healing and reviving all allies. Ifrit roars as Fire Spirits come flooding into the area. White flames surround him and the flaming rocks from before are falling from the sky rapidly. One is headed for Lupis, another toward Paul, and two toward Sylvia.

Whiskers runs in toward Ocram, but he is blocked by the Hydra Guards. Red tries to wrap his whip around them, but a rope is shot at his feet and he can't move from the spot he's in! Silver throws down a bomb that flashes brightly to blind one of the Hydra Guards while Kress runs back and switches with Lysea. She charges forward and smashes into the Hydra Guard that isn't blinded. As she stops, Ocram shoots at her three times, causing some damage. Havid throws a poisonous bomb at the enemies, causing all of them to be poisoned except the Lucky Gecko. A sudden gust of wind blows away the poison frog from it. Eaudi and Chuchu switch out as she traps one of the guards in a dark cloud, absorbing their health. It seems more effective than a physical attack. Maybe if you use magic, you can take these guys down faster. The Hydra Guards use a counter move on Lysea and Eaudi, dealing back the damage they did. Lysea is starting to get low on health. Eaudi is injured, but thanks to her absorbing ability, she is still in good shape. The enemies are damaged by the poison.

Red whistles for Whiskers. Red then asks Whiskers to nibble through the rope for him. While Whiskers nibbles in the rope have Red use leg sweep on the guards.
Meanwhile with Team Inferaus kupo....
