Reyol takes Forrest outside of Terran and the two head off toward Flowery Fields. The beatiful fields of flowers have the typical flower petals blowing around in the breeze. As the two walk along, a group of three Goblins jump out of the nearby bushes, ready to attack. "Whoa! Monsters! Cool! Let's take them down!"

Kress barks. "You remember how to fight, right? You just gotta use your skills mom and dad taught you! Goblins are nothing! Let's take them down together. If you focus on damaging them, I'll keep you safe."

Throw a smoke bomb at the ground, then under the cover of the smoke attack one of the goblins. Koko will attack another one with Chocobo Kick.

Forrest throws down a smoke bomb, disappearing before reappearing behind an enemy Goblin and slashing it with his daggers. Meanwhile, Reyol runs in and jabs at one of the Goblins before Kress bites it, absorbing its health and defeating it. Koko runs in and kicks the last Goblin off into the horizon so it can't be seen anymore. "Alright! We beat them! I guess they were pretty easy though. Let's keep going. That crystal had to have landed somewhere around here." As Reyol wanders around the field, she stumbles upon Lava Slimes. "What are Lava Slimes doing here...!? They're only found on Mt. Vul. It shouldn't be possible to find them in Flowery Fields."

Talia and Gugu were already in Flowery Fields, coming back from a quest when they notice a red crystal falling down from the sky.
Talia: "This isn't good..."
Talia and Gugu starts walking to the location of the crystal.

Honestly, I was hoping for Mog to show up and deal with the Slimes. Perhaps he would then go with them through here and find out at the very end whose kids they are. As it stands there's nothing I can do that won't risk melting my equipment.

Talia notices three people fighting lava slimes from a distance.
"Wait what? Lava slimes in a plain area?"
Gugu seems confused as well.
"We have to help them!"
Gugu runs towards the battle, waving his hand in the air. He uses Download (Not sure how that works yet), while Talia uses Chill Bullet from a distance.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Talia has the Chill Bullet ability. Yeah, that should work. Smoke Bomb from Forrest, Defend from Koko. |
