Can Euadi switch out with somebody? She might be more useful as a support unit than a frontline unit at the moment. (Chuchu, which is Awkward's character I think) |

(The switch mechanic is having exactly the effects I hoped for. You guys are communicating a lot more than in the last game. It makes things feel more alive from my standing as the moderator.)
Forrest disappears in a fog while Reyol comes running in and smashes her lance into the Sand Wyrm. Talia comes running in, switching with Gugu as she shoots bullets that produce powerful gusts at the Earth Spirits, defeating one and injuring the other. Rix and Raven swap places. She then finishes the other Earth Spirit with a Wind Blast. Aqua steps back as Kress jumps over him and attacks the Sand Wyrm with a flaming tackle. Indigo jumps backward, out of the fight as Nick rolls in and leaps in the air before punching the Sand Wyrm and knocking it out. The boss is defeated as Nick dusts himself off.
Silver disappears as Lysea comes riding in with her Giant Adamantoise charging directly into the Earth Spirit as she slashes through. The spirit falls apart and Harperina runs in, climbing the Sand Wyrm before jabbing it in the back. As she backflips off of it, the Sand Wyrm tries to breath a sand breath at her, but Red whips the mouth shut and slams the Sand Wyrm's face into the ground. It manages to shake off Red, but Hector throws his lance into the Wyrm's mouth, holding it open. Eaudi steps back as Chuchu runs in, throwing a flaming spirit down the throat of the Sand Wyrm. It burns away from the inside out, covered in ghostly flames, before turning to Zonite. Hector retrieves his lance and the party moves onward toward Magis.
Congratulations! Everyone that participated in battle received 100 Gold and 1 SP for their currently equipped class. Forbit also found a mysterious chip. Downloading the data, he learns Sand Breath. He can shoot a continuous stream of sand into all enemies at a time, potentially blinding them.
