Ray lets out a startling yell as he stuns Kelly before she is launched up into the air by a powerful burst of wind. Mica flies backward while Aqua runs in and jumps up in the air, biting Kelly and learning Emerald Light. Forrest disappears and reappears in the air above Kelly before throwing down Water Shurikens that blast out water into her. Indigo jumps up in the air and then slams Kelly into the ground with a Disorienting Blow. She gets up and looks sort of dizzy as the Carbuncles heal her with a light.

Lupis uses Mage Block as a barrier similar to Kardus' appears in front of him, but white colored instead of green. Paul creates a large sphere of dark wind around Omega Carbuncle before it closes in and causes multiple small dark explosions around it. Kick then causes a powerful, giant explosion of darkness that knocks out all the little Carbuncles around Omega Carbuncle. Jess then runs in and performs a punching and kicking combo on Omega Carbuncle before kicking it in the face and backflipping off of it. Rose whistles and summons her Red Chocobo as it runs in and performs a Chocobo Kick on Omega Carbuncle! Omega Carbuncle roars and releases another powerful beam at Lupis. It does significantly less damage than last time. Lupis' barrier fades as Omega Carbuncle seems to have lost interest in him.

She creates a light around herself and reverses her negative stats. She looks like she's getting tired.

Rose wraps her whip around Carbuncle's mouth in an attempt to keep it from moving while Kick fuses triple Dark Blast. As he runs toward Omega Carbuncle, he unleashes a powerful slash that creates a gigantic, dark explosion. Omega Carbuncle shakes off Rose as Kain unleashes a fire breath at it. Jess keeps up her Dragon Rush. Paul creates a triple dark void as a large vortex of darkness sucks in Omega Carbuncle and damages it multiple times before spitting it out. Carbuncle then roars loudly as beams of light rain down from above onto everyone, damaging the whole party.
