A team of heroes runs toward the docks, climbing aboard a ship and looking around for the missing goods, finding a little Carbuncle aboard the ship. It looks at you curiously before running over to the front of the ship, where Kelly is standing. A huge stash of stolen goods is stored away down in the ship. Multiple other little Carbuncles run over to her and surround Kelly as she slowly turns to your party. As Kelly's eyes flash with an ominous light, the Carbuncles all stand up on their hind legs.
It looks like...she's gonna try to murder you all. Was this a trap? The Shadows are getting smarter...

Paul: Ummm I don't remember Carbunicle being umm so pissed off.
Paul looks over towards Ana with a hint of worry.
Paul: In order to save Kelly we have to defeat Carby.
Paul opens up with a triple fuse of Explosive Fungi, Fireball, and Entangling vines.
Jess uses makeshift Shield.

Mica: Kelly.....

Mica starts to create powerful wind currents beneath Kelly's feet while Forrest throws an exploding shuriken at her, doing splash damage to the two Carbuncles. Indigo runs in and hits Kelly with an Overwhelming Blow, lowering her stats while Ray lands a blow on another one of the Carbuncles, defeating it. Talia takes aim and fires dark bullets at Kelly that ricochet and take out the other Carbuncle as well. It seems the dark element is extra effective. Kelly whistles as two more Carbuncles jump up from the side of the boat and shoot light beams at Indigo, doing some damage.

Kick casts Great Speed as everyone starts to move faster. Lupis charges forward on Kain, smashing Omega Carbuncle in the face and enraging it. Jess throws some barrels together on the ship to make a ship. Paul summons forth giant carnivorous plants that spit exploding fireballs at the many Carbuncles, but it isn't enough to take them all down! Rose winks at one of the Carbuncles as hearts swarm around it. It seems to be charmed and under her control. The Carbuncle performs a dance to increase Lupis' Resistance. The three Carbuncles dance around Omega Carbuncle, raising its stats before Omega Carbuncle creates a bright beam in its mouth before launching it into Lupis for some decent damage. Omega Carbuncle continues to watch Lupis...

Paul: Hmm Carby if I remember is light so let's try this.
Paul will triple cast hurricane dark void and explosive fungi.
Jess will rush omega and hit it with a dragon rush

Can I use both Mage Block and Retaliate in the same turn?
In any case, Forrest teleports behind Kelly and throws Water Shurikens.

(Nope. You'll have to rely on getting Resistance from an ally or getting the counter from an ally somehow. It's part of the strategy in this game.)

Mage block it is then. Everyone else can handle the damage dealing, it's my job to tank hits so they can go all out without worrying about getting hurt.
