Welcome to the world of Pokemon! It seems that you’ve stumbled into this world! You were a human before, weren’t you? Take a look at yourself! You’ve changed. You are now a Pokemon. I have called you here for help. There are others too, but first, let’s get to work on explaining some important information to you!
In this world, Pokemon and humans live practically separate lives. Almost none of the Pokemon here have seen a human before. There are very few and even they don’t know too much. In this world, Pokemon trainers have never existed. The humans know about as much about Pokemon as the Pokemon know about the humans! There is something special though. Pokemon and humans are able to speak the same language! Without the help of humans, however, Pokemon had to learn to live on their own and soon began to create small towns of Pokemon and even began to put together Exploration Teams. That’s what you’re here to do. That’s not all though. I have a few other things, but you might need more explanation.
Exploration Teams were thought of a while ago. It all started with something smaller called Rescue Teams. One day, a Pikachu had lost their brother on a tall mountain. A powerful Pokemon had taken the Pichu and Pikachu was not strong enough to fight it. He had then started the idea of a Rescue Team and gathered a group of Pokemon to join him. After saving Pichu, Pikachu decided to keep up the Rescue Team. Soon enough, Rescue Teams were forming everywhere! They had began to form entire Rescue Guilds. After a long time of Rescue Teams, they had begun doing even more amazing things and learning to explore many hard to reach places. This formed into the Exploration Teams. Exploration Teams work in large groups to accomplish hard goals. While only exploring as four at a time, they work as a large group at the base to help each other get stronger.
Exploration Teams explore strange places that used to be called Mystery Dungeons. Mystery Dungeons have had a strange shift recently, however. They are now Mystery Zones. A Mystery Zone is much different from a Mystery Dungeon. Instead of being an enclosed space, they are a large, open area. Mystery Zones seem safe, but recently, there have been strange, Shadow Pokemon. These Pokemon are aggressive and will attack anyone that comes toward it. Mystery Zones also have strange effects like kicking out any groups larger than four Pokemon or changing forms each time they’re entered. Since Mystery Zones are so dangerous, Exploration Teams go inside of them to help out other Pokemon with Jobs. There is also treasure inside of these dungeons! That is only found towards the end, though.
I mentioned Jobs earlier. Jobs are requests made by other Pokemon and posted on the Job Board. If you take the Job, you can get nice rewards for completing it like Poke, items, or even rare Pokemon eggs you can hatch. Don’t confuse Job Boards for Criminal Boards though. Criminal Boards are where the Pokemon town posts wanted criminals and asks Exploration Teams to capture them. The criminals are normally quite strong, but together, groups can defeat them! Make sure to take a look at these!
Now, you may be uncertain how fighting works as a Pokemon. Seeing as it’s dangerous out there, you will have to know. First of all, Pokemon use moves to fight. These moves have a variety of effects from Tail Whip to Draco Meteor. Pokemon can only remember how to use up to four moves at a time. If a Pokemon goes over the limit, they will have to forget one. Pokemon have to use these moves in strategic ways to damage their opponents. Try being creative and even mixing moves with other Pokemon. Pokemon normally need PP to use their moves, but Exploration Teams have badges that give them infinite PP! The last thing to explain is HP. Exploration Team badges have meters on them that will help to show not only their HP, but others as well. Once a Pokemon’s HP hits zero, they will faint. If a full party of Pokemon faint, the Mystery Zone will instantly warp them right out and back to the town they came from! It is pretty strange, but at least they won’t be knocked out in a zone. That’s all, I think. Just a few things I need you to tell me and I’ll have you ready!
