Right, I just remembered one of the skills I had thought of before that fits in line with making him a support character.
Mud Splash
Robbie summons a pig to splash mud at all enemies. Accuracy and attack are lowered.

New skill for Lyon:
Spectral Shield: Lyon summons a shimmering incoporeal shield of force energy around himself or an ally that greatly raises their defense for one turn. Only one Spectral Shield can be active at a time.
