Cough Vote for Somnis instead of complaining about it cough. Cough I litteraly suckered punched Somnis in the jaw cough and that didn't seem to have any big consequence cough.
I complain about Somnis but I vote and have a say. Why cant you vote for Somnis even though shes baiscally the Verse character.
Hell I literally had my character tell the group about her being a lesbian during the first big sleepover. So its not Somnis focus its how you interact with other NPCs and PCs.
At this point the only person Lyon has gotten along with is Ava he dosent even try talking to others. At least get a social link with another character before you knock the system

Lyon has interacted with a few others. He hasn't gone out of his way to spend time with anyone else yet because I'm sticking to playing him in-character.
Why can't I vote for Somnis? Because I have a million other things to do and have to have priorities, otherwise I would literally go insane. I fully intend to try to make time to vote for her.
And finally, I'm not "knocking the system". I'm voicing my opinion on what I feel is an important issue. And I'm not the only one who has this opinion.

If you cant dedicate time to vote over at the Verse. Then at least skim during the character interactions and personality stuff just so you can try to make Somnis more normal. Instead of everyone saying we hate crazy Somnis despite the fact shes actually a player character. Hell i do just as much complaining about her despite being 1/3 of the vote.
As far as not playing nice. You litteraly ripped my head off over the "safe" choice. Its what Just asked of Pie and Ultra when they were playing. The game is basically about interacting with other characters. Why creat a character that hates other?

X. You didn't call Ava Lyon's sister. Your character did. I didn't snap at you. Lyon did. Let's make sure that distinction is understood. Nearly all arguments that happen in RPs happen because people don't emphasize that distinction.
I'm glad you have no problem with the system. I, however, do. And I am allowed to voice my concerns.

And, no, Lyon did not literally rip your character's head off. Your character is still very much alive. And Lyon doesn't hate anyone. He was sheltered, has trust issues, and is socially inept. Now, this is starting to erupt into a argument, and I have a phone call to take and a RP to update, so I'm going to drop it here.

Guya, I don't see an issue with developing youe Characters' when interacting with NPCs or other PCs. And if there is one then that's stupid. I get the summoning thing for sure, but charavtee development in general shouldn't be a problem.
Honestly it'd be weird if Lyon spent so much time listening to Ava, then tried to open up to her only for Just to make her go,"SHUT UP, BACKSTORIES WITH SOMNIS ONLY."

Digi just says it with less... Confrontation, I guess? No matter what I say, do, or mean, people always seem to infer a confrontational attitude whenever I say anything, which I've kinda just resigned myself towards. Which... Does make me sad, honestly. I know I can come off as confrontational sometimes, but it feels like that's all anyone sees all the time, and it causes them to dismiss what I'm saying. Anyway. What Digi said. |
