Mattea just stares you down for a long moment while Avel looks from you to the portal a couple of times before jumping in. "Wha-AVELYOUCANTJUSTJUMPINTOAPORTALLIKETHAT! Dammit, I thought this crap was all made up! AGHHHH! That's it! I'm finding this kidnapper and taking them down!" Mattea runs into the portal as well after Avel.
...After a few minutes you realize they both went in without Soul Keys.

September 29th Thursday Rainy
Another school day. Everyone heads to class feeling tired. Last night was exhausting. They hear a lot of stuff about the disappearance of Lance last night as well. Seems the rest of the world finally caught up. That day, the group gathers at the garden during lunch in the rain.
"So what are we gonna do?"
"Well we can't just leave him there forever, but we can't just walk right into a trap like that."
"So now it's a matter of deciding how to rescue him? We could try to sneak in."
"That could take a while. We'd have to figure out where their base is and how to even get in."
"Why don't we just charge right in and save him? We can take 'em on!"
"That's not a very good plan. We'd get swarmed."
