September 13th Tuesday
It's the first day of school. All kinds of different students head off to their classes early in the morning. Things go along as they usually do. Fairly boring. First days are always slow. Eventually, it comes time for Class Meetings. The separate classes all meet throughout the school. Freshmen outside, Sophomores in the gym, Juniors in the cafeteria, and Seniors in the auditorium. Better get there so that you don't miss anything important...or so that you don't get in trouble.

Karl walks to the auditorium. He pulls out some pop tarts from his pocket and starts eating them.

Nobody goes outside because there aren't any freshman players.
Rix heads to the gym and waits around for the presentation or whatever they're waiting for to begin. It seems like people are avoiding him. He has a reputation as a jerk.
Tab and Julia head over to the Cafeteria and end up separate. Tab finds one of the few open seats nearby. A girl that seems somewhat familiar is sitting next to him. "Hm...? Oh, hey, aren't you the guy who sits next to me in history class? Um...what was your name? Tab, right? I'm Laura." She smiles at you a little bit and moves har long, brown hair back, watching you with her crystal blue eyes. "Nice to meet you."
Meanwhile, Julia sits next to some guy who's got his feet up on the chair in front of him and looks like he's about to fall asleep. It's the only seat left. She takes it and he looks over at her. "Hey. I'm Tom." He's got medium length light brown hair and is wearing sunglasses. His face looks pretty neutral and conveys that he is really bored. His feet are up on the chair in front of him and his hands are behind his head as he reclines backwards.
Karl walks into the auditorium and takes a seat, eating some pop tarts.
All of the different classes have to sit through a long and boring speech about school and classes and whatever...it's very boring.

(here is what the book should say.
'in order to be successful at school is you must try to your best and actually study, if that does not work then cheat, if THAT does not work then do a Strategy called the final solution....' they dont want to keep reading after that)

You're the kind of guy who only comes here because you have to. You don't listen in class, yet you get good grades, so you think you're a big shot, better than everyone else. Your feet on that chair shows that you have no respect for other people's property or any sense of personal space. These sunglasses... Hmm... Lazy disinterested attitude... Yeah, I don't think it's a fashion choice. You're just too proud to get caught staring at girls.

...The speech eventually ends. The students finish up classes and school is over. Teb notices Laura walking home from school with someone.
