"Yeah, it looks pretty damn good, honestly. Okay, we'll probably fuck up the chants since I'm not suee if you're familiar with them, but that's fine. We can always come back another night after some practice and do it for real. For now though,.."
Tai pulls something out of his hoodie...
It's an IV bag full of blood.
"We don't need to use all of it tonight, but we have enough for a few attempts before we go at this for real."
Tai opens the bag and drizzles a bit of blood on top of the small circle they made. Then he pours just a drop or two into the center.
Finally, Tai puts up the IV bag and stands outside the circle.
"Now just follow my chatning, okay? You don't have to get it perfect first try, it's pretty advanced."
Tai begins chanting mantras in an ancient, sinister, eldritch language.

Tai opens his eyes, breathing somewhat heavily.
"Well... fuck. It's.. fine, though. I knew it wouldn't work on the first try... But thanks for helping me out." Tai thinks for a second before saying.
"Hey, you guys... got phone numbers? It'd be easier to plan ahead if we could talk places besides school..."

"Wow, you're the first person to ask for it! Ever!" Jimmy gives you his phone number before tripping over a root in the ground and falling into a mud puddle.

Morgan and Tab
"Shouldn't we focus on getting these flowers to Raine's mom first? I can tell you about myself on the way there." Somnis helps gather up any dropped flowers and everyone moves along on their way. Somnis carries one of Morgan's ferrets in her arms and snuggles it along the way. "I love your cat snake. It's really nice." She then responds to the question Morgan asked earlier. "Yeah, I have a dog. He drives cars sometimes. I also was told by my mom to make some new friends, so everyone I push into that fountain has become my friend so far. It works really well."
The five all head on into the hospital and Freya walks up to the lady at the desk. "Hey, it's me, Freya. We're here to see mom again."
The woman at the desk is quiet for a moment and then responds. "Yes. You can go on ahead, but...there's something..."
"Thanks!" Freya moves along on her way with the group following behind. As they enter the room, they notice that there's a doctor here and a nurse. They're looking over Freya and Raine's mother and talking. "...? Is...something wrong?" Freya's face shows some concern, but mostly confusion.
The doctor turns around and looks at Freya before sighing. "Your mother has slipped into a coma, I'm afraid." Raine's smile quickly disappears as he says this and Freya looks at him seriously. "It looks like her condition is getting worse...there might not be much time left for her."
"...I see. Thank you for telling us." Freya thanks the doctor as both he and the nurse walk out of the room. Raine begins to cry as tears stream down her cheeks.
"M-Mom...i-is she...?"
Freya looks over at her sister with a pained look on her face. "...She's..."

Morgan and Tab
Somnis looks at Freya and Raine. "She's still alive. We can't give up yet. We're all here for you, so we can hold onto hope together." She walks over to Freya and gives her a hug, holding her in her arms. Freya accepts and hugs back. Both of them are silent as they stand together and hold each other.

Tab's face grimaces in pain from the news. His friends are on the cusp of losing their mother...
...Tab walks into the room, looks at their mother for a long moment, then walks up close next to the woman, placing the flowers in her hands.
Tab: "...Somnis is right. As long as your mother continues to draws breath, she's still there. She's still fighting to make sure she can return home to her daughters again. You're the reasons why she's still breathing. If you let yourselves give up, what will your mother have been fighting for? No matter what you do, you can't give up on your mom."
Tab takes off his cap and waits in silent sadness as the girls hug each other.

"Somnis is right as long as there hope then nothing is impossible," Morgan said. "We will find a way the five of us will find a way to make this better," Morgan then goes ahead and holds Raine as hard as she can.
"You can't give up now Oni chun, you can't just give up," Morgan says holding Raine.
Morgan then starts thinking about her own mom and starts to tear up about. But quickly tries to hold back the tears.
Meg joins in on the hug too really just placing her paws on the ankles of Raine and Morgan. Bret will just perch himself on Tabs shoulder and look at him confused.

Morgan and Tab
Raine holds onto Morgan tightly and cries on her. Freya finally releases Somnis and looks over at Tab. "You're right. We still have to hold on. We need to hold onto that hope that one day...mom WILL come back." She stands there a moment and looks to each of you. "Thank you. Somnis, Tab, Morgan. You're all the best friends I could have ever asked for. I...won't forget how you've all helped us today."
Raine wipes her tears away, but is still sad. "Thanks for helping me whenever I come here. Um...I hope you keep coming with me. Even though I cried on you."
Morgan and Tab have both achieved a relationship rank up with Raine and Freya.
The group returns home silently. There's not much talking along the way, but...you can tell Freya and Raine still haven't given up.

Wednesday October 5th, Rainy
Everyone
You all head off to school in the morning, as usual. Classes pass with nothing particularly interesting happening. It's notable that Karl is not at school today, but it's possible he might just be sick and stayed at home. Classes pass as usual, with the teachers not allowing anyone to use their phones. Around lunch time that day, the investigation team gathers back together to talk about any clues they may know.
Investigation Team
Everyone gets together in Raine's secret garden to talk and it seems like everyone is here except for Karl, Zack, and Alice.
"So, did you find any clues, Julia?" Raine sits at the table in his usual, relaxed position. Fox appears to be on his phone at the moment.
Lyon, Natsumi, Tai
The three of you stand in the cafeteria and must decide where to sit again today. There's that singer girl again, the girl sitting with a soccer ball, the girl sitting on her phone and wearing headphones, the boy wearing the hood that hides his face, the girl with the dog hoodie, and the boy surrounded by girls.
