Okay. Here is what we'll do. We'll actually CATCH the thief. No fighting, no killing.
You seem hellbent on blaming the ferrets, so we'll consider that as a lead. All we need to do is feed one, and let him lead us to where they store food. If your box is there, then they are indeed the thieves.
We'll take the box back, leaving more food instead and let them be, because they are just wild cuties.
If they don't have your box... Well, that means they are not the culprits.

Morgan and Tab try to calm down Laura as they walk through the open fields. As they do this, Rix looks over and sees that there are some strange orbs of light energy moving toward them. Laura doesn't seem to be calm at all. "AGH! I HATE HIM!" She punches one of the floating orbs across the field and they all turn to you, hostile. "Uh...whoops. Those things are alive?"
