They...well, it's not certain yet, but they're looking into sending me away to a different school. That way I can focus on my studies and become successful like them. Lyon smiles gently and takes Ava's hand into his. "Don't give up on your dreams, Ava. I'm sure if you can show your parents what your music really means to you, they'll understand. And if we can also prove to them that you can have a successful career in music, all the better. But even if your parents don't listen, even if you have to change schools... That doesn't mean you have to give up on your dreams. Once you're of legal age, you can pursue any career you wish. Your parents can't control your future, Ava."

The two of you finish up and Avalon takes Lyon's hand, guiding him through the mall over to what looks like some kind of karaoke club place. "Here it is. I've wanted to go here for a while, but didn't have anyone to go with. So...what do you think? We can perform a song together in front of a crowd. It would be good practice for performing in front of a large crowd and my parents wouldn't even know we were here! As far as they know, I'm studying with you right now. Sooo...?" She looks at you expectantly.

Lyon seems a bit hesitant at first, then he smiles and nods. "Alright, Ava. It will be my pleasure to perform with you. I'll try not to disappoint you."

She smiles and brings Lyon into the karaoke club with her.
Avalon looks around. "The Velvet Room, huh...? Interesting name." She then brings Lyon over to the stage and the two sign up to sing.
Lyon does a fairly decent job. He doesn't particularly stand out, but he doesn't sing poorly. However, his singing is not as impressive as Avalon's. Her voice is almost like a goddess. But you can tell that she enjoys having you by her side. Singing with her helps you relax and all tension melts away into song and dance.

Once your performance is over, Avalon, happily walks with you off the stage. "That was great! I had so much fun! We should sing together more often, I-" She bumps into someone, not paying much attention where she was going. "Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to run into you."
The girl she bumped into readjusts her glasses while shaking her head. "It's no problem, don't worry about it. I should have been paying more attention. I have a lot on my mind." You get a better look at her, noticing she's carrying a clipboard with various papers on it. She has long, black hair as well and wears simple, yet professional businessy clothes. She looks like she's around Lyon's age, actually. She has a sad look on her face. You aren't quite sure where, but it feels like you've seen her around before.

Surprisingly calm and clear headed after his performance with Avalon, Lyon studies the new girl. "I've seen you before," he says. "I never forget a face. But I can't seem to recall where... Strange. Do you go to the local high school?"
