"Oh, well that explains it. Nice to meet you, Lionel. My name's Alice." She offers her hand for a handshake. When Lyon either accepts it or denies it, she looks over to Avalon. "Right, Avalon! I recognize you. You're very involved with the music and drama clubs." She then looks back to Lyon. "Well, it was nice speaking with you, but I do have some things I should probably finish doing." She sighs and looks back to the clipboard she's carrying, writing something down on it quickly.

Lyon nods. "I understand. I have to escort Ava home, so we'll be going now. Perhaps we'll see each other at school. It was a pleasure to meet you."
He escorts Avalon outside the mall, to where Alfonzo was waiting in the parking lot, then gently pulls her to a stop, just out of Alfonzo's earshot. He seems really hesitant. When he speaks, he's clearly flustered, and his words come out a bit rushed.
"You said earlier that I seem to always know just what to say... But the truth is, I'm not sure how to talk to you. I'm usually much more... Blunt, to put it mildly. I was infamous back home for it. My Eloquence and Language tutors affectionately referred to me as the "Little Demon". If they could hear me now, they'd swear I was a completely different person. I've never really had anyone I could call a friend. My "friends" were only interested in me because of my title, position, family, or money. Tonight was... I don't know how to describe it. Amazing? Wonderful? I don't know. But I know I'll remember it for a long time. And for what it's worth, Avalon... You do your name justice. And you have the most beautiful voice I've ever heard. So, I guess what I really want to say is... Thank you, Ava."

Avalon smiles. "Maybe you just needed a little help learning how to talk to people. It sounds like you haven't had much of a chance to be honest with anyone because nobody has been honest with you. But...I think you're doing well. When you speak, it sounds like everything you say comes from the heart. I'm glad you had fun tonight. I did too. I won't be forgetting it either. You know, you really are perfect. I bet you'll make some girl really happy someday." She seems to be thinking a bit, but doesn't speak much more beyond that. "So...I guess I should thank you too. You've really brought some hope to me during a hard time. So thank you. I'm glad we met."

Lyon nods and smiles, though he seems deep in thought. "I'm glad I met you too. You've really helped broaden my perspective. Give me a call sometime if you want to come back here to practice singing. I'll be your partner anytime, Ava."

Avalon seems satisfied with the answer and gives Lyon a hug. "Of course! I'll make sure to call you whenever I want to see you. You can do the same too, okay? I...I trust you."
A deep trust has formed between Lyon and Avalon. Lyona and Avalon have reached relationship rank 6!
"...Oh! Sorry. I didn't mean to invade your space or anything. Um...I guess it just sort of...W-Well, we should be heading home, shouldn't we? Thanks again. For everything."
Lyon and Avalon returned home.

You head over to the mall and look around a bit. That guy that's always surrounded by girls is here. He's actually by the fountain right now. Natsumi also notices a few other people too. A guy with sunglasses is drinking coffee at the cafe. He looks kinda familiar. Probably goes to school with you. There's also a girl shopping for flowers. Actually, it's that girl that was with the phone guy.

Raine seems a bit on guard when you approach her, but isn't openly hostile or anything. "Oh, um...yes. It's alright. He was very strange. I'm not sure why he was acting that way. I don't know why he wouldn't tell me the truth. I could tell he was lying..."
