Shade makes his way over to an island and sees on a big sign there it says Squirtle Island. He doesn't have to think too long on the meaning before he sees a whole bunch of wild Squirtle sleeping on the beach shore. This must be some strange sort of resort/Squirtle reserve.

(I don't think getting a present is at the top of his priorities right now, sorry.)
Progress onwards towards the resort, keeping an eye out for anyone suspicious. With no other leads, he can't rule out the possibility that this whole place is a front, especially considering that a certain other group who once used Shadow Pokemon and who may or may not have some connection to all of this tended to hide in inconspicuous locations.

Shade moves onward toward the resort. He manages to sneak past the gate without being seen by the security guards at the resort with a little help from his Pokemon. As he makes his way toward the resort, he notices nothing very suspicious about it. It looks like a rather nice resort actually. A large hotel with a Pokemon colosseum nearby, pools, a golf course, you know the usual. It looks like there are battles going on in the colosseum right now. A tournament is underway currently.

Head to the Coliseum. I'm not necessarily going to join, but at the very least spectating should let me know if anyone is using Shadow Pokemon, and even if I did join the tournament snagging a Shadow Pokemon in the middle of a tournament where everyone can see would be incredibly stupid.

Shade makes his way over to the colosseum to find a few people from the resort watching safely behind clear barriers.
Pokefan: Libra is totally gonna win this one. His Dragonite is invincible!
You look down and see there are actually four battles going on right now. There are three things he notices at first glance. One is a Dragonite using a Hyper Beam to blast away a Gogoat in battle. The other two are much more interesting though. His headpiece reacts to a Pokemon down below, scanning a Zubat and revealing it is a Shadow Pokemon. The two from the lighthouse are participating in battles.

Discreetly walk out of the coliseum and type an e-mail, sending it to the professor's computer.
"I've found the two from the lighthouse at a nearby resort island, but notbing suggests that this place is a front.
-Shade"
After that, head back in and continue to watch the battles, heading to cut off the two from the lighthouse when they exit.

You send the professor your message and continue to watch the battles. A huge, muscular trainer seems to have reached a one on one situation with a little girl and her Plusle. His Tauros charges forward and hits it with a powerful headbutt knocking it out in a close match. The girl folds her arms and legs out a sigh while the muscular trainer raises his arm in the air and let's out a cheer. They shake hands and the battle is over. The boy with the Dragonite seems to be dominating his opponent, blasting all their Pokemon away with powerful attacks. His match was won rather quickly. He shakes hands with the man he was battling and now there are only two battles going.
Danny's Hoothoot seems to be riding on his rolling Roggenrola over to his opponent's Kirlia. The Kirlia blasts the two back with her psychic powers and it looks like he's going to lose, but his Hoothoot starts to evolve during the battle! It becomes a Noctowl and blasts both Kirlia and Mawile away with a powerful Uproar, defeating them.
Charles' Pokemon seem to be having a harder battle. His opponent's Litleo is confused and breathing fire everywhere, but Honedge manages to take it down in a double KO. With his Aron weak, however, the man's is at a disadvantage when the Shadow Zubat takes it down. Those Shadow Pokemon are powerful. It looks like Danny and Charles will be moving to the semi finals.

The semi finals begin.
Danny is facing off against the man with the Tauros and Bouffalant with his Noctowl and Roggenrola. Charles sends out his Shadow Zubat and Litwick to face off against the Dragonite and Hydreigon combo.
