"Wait...king is bad tuna?"
"King is bad tuna...?"
"Bad tuna king?"
"Tuna king bad?"
"King bad tuna?"
"Bad tuna smell bad."
"No other tuna."
"Oh yes. Tuna. We stand and fight bad tuna." It seems your Lizardman allies are willing to duel him. You can also change their songs before battle if you'd like. So far you have miners, prisoners, and Plantina's strange wood Lizardmen.

"We try all our songs and send best warrior!"
Milton sends his song into an unchanged Lizardman.

Milton sends his song into one of the prisoner Lizardmen, changing it into a tribal Lizardman. His rags are replaced with tribal clothing and tribal markings cover his body. A skull is worn on his head and he seems to have gained what looks like a spear.

Cedar tries putting the song from the fire bats into one of them, but if anything too bad happens he will hastily take it out and replace it with their original song.

Can places his song within one of the miner Lizardmen, giving him a mexican hat and a colorful poncho along with maracas and colorful scales.
Cedar places his song within one of the prisoner Lizardmen, replacing his clothes and scales with black fur as the claws and fangs become much larger and the eyes turn red. It became a were Lizardman. Sort of intimidating, but doesn't seem particularly evil.
Cedar also places the volcanic song into a miner Lizardmen as his scales turn red and he combusts into flames. It became a Flame Lizardman.
It appears your warriors are as follows.
Prisoner Lizardman - Weak with no special abilities Miner Lizardman - Weak with pickaxe Wooden Lizardman - Decent strength. Attacks with claws and can use forest magic. Were Lizardman - Strong. Uses powerful claws and fangs to tear through enemies. Difficult to control. Will kill Lizardman King if he wins. Flame Lizardman - Decent strength. Attacks with flaming claws, fire breath, and fire magic. Mexican Lizardman - Weak. Specializes in dances and songs. Has an accent. Tribal Lizardman - Decent strength. Attacks with a tribal lance and has tribal bone armor. Can perform magic dances.

(My mistake. The Flame Lizardman was a different song. Mt. Pyre just makes it back into a miner Lizardman and has no effect. You guys don't have the Flame Lizardman right now.)

Milton: "Werelizardman looks powerful, but Tribal looks more like a warrior!
I think we should send Tribal Lizardman!"

Well, this is how I'm seeing it:
Prisoner- No Miner- No Wooden- Eh Were- We're not gaining a whole lot by killing the dude. Mexican- The only chance this guy has is by making the king cry with weird stuff Tribal- The best fighter who won't kill the king and has unspecified magic
i say we go with Tribal too.

The Tribal Lizardman steps forward. "I fight for save my people from bad tuna!" He raises his lance to the sky. You all agree to have him represent you as a champion. You all head back to the King Lizardman's castle and tell him you challenge him to a duel.
"Ha! You don't even have any weapons." He picks up a giant, golden hammer and stands from his throne. He looks ready to battle as the Tribal Lizardman steps forward.
"I will win!" He takes out his spear and faces down the king.
BOSS FIGHT!
"Take this ya little punk!" The king smashes his hammer forward as the Tribal Lizardman manages to step back. Giant crags are made in the ground where the hammer hit.
"Very strong. But no will or purpose. True warrior have both!" The Tribal Lizardman runs behind a large pillar before it is smashed to pieces by the king. He moves out of the rubble and then jumps to the side as the hammer is swung again. "When king strike, take long time to get hammer out of ground. I remember this." The Tribal Lizard waits impatiently before the king tries to smash the hammer into him again. He jumps back and dodges the hammer before performing a strange, tribal dance. "This is hidden technique. Dodge Dance!" The king looks mad and smashes his hammer into the ground as the rubble from the ground sprays down over the Tribal Lizard. He dances around the falling rubble before tossing his spear into the king. It hits him and sticks into the lizard king. The Tribal Lizard then runs forward and slides under the king before jumping up over his head and landing on it. He kicks the king face first into the ground and takes his spear out of him. "Bad king defeated."
"Rgh...This isn't over 'till I say it's over." It looks like the king is about to fight to the death. Will you interfere in some way?

Can runs up to the Tribal Lizardman's side and coaches him. "Amigaso, we need you to win this fight, but try not to kill this ese. Killing is pointless. And watch out, this guy might have some tricks muy susio." Can runs back.

"Yes." Tribal Lizard stands ready before the Lizard King jumps up high in the air and slams into the ground, sending out a shockwave that knocks the Tribal Lizard into a wall. He then swipes his hammer as golden stars appear around him and fly into the Tribal Lizardman. "Gah! Powerful..."
"I'm gonna squash you like a bug!" The king sends another wave of stars into the Tribal Lizardman.
"This look bad..." The Tribal Lizardman looks weak and is on his hands and knees. Will you interfere?

We do have that lantern... Maybe return the original song, give Tribal Lizardman a heads-up, and toss the lantern towards him for a surprise fiery attack on the king?

Dance to encourage him.
Send Milton's theme into him again to heal him?

Dance to encourage him. Send Milton's theme into him again to heal him? Nope I'd suggest you don't do that. Remember two songs in one creature causes them to explode. Even if it is two of the same.
