Song Tuners

The Aquatic Behemoth roars at the party again and approaches. "I don't think it can understand you."

Can steals the song of the Aquatic Behemoth, leaving behind a gray statue in its place. "Hmm. Strange how you would criticize using those techniques and then use them for yourself. But I guess I can see where it might have been necessary. Well. Now what? As much as I would love to poke around these random carvings, would it not be best to try and find that evil gray maker?"

The Aquatic Behemoth seems to become a little smaller and loses its fins, changing its fur into more bright colors. It gains a mexican hat and holds a guitar in its claws. "What...?"

(All business and no sidequests makes for a dull player. Oh well.)

Can gives up on the carvings, taking the song from the room as they disappear and the entire room turns gray. He walks out and places the song he took into the gray door. It turns into one of the ruins doors, glowing, before turning slightly and opening up. You can all sense a powerful presence. It's definitely another Tuner, but one much stronger than you. The mysterious, robed Tuner seems to be picking up something strange from within the ruins. He grabs an odd looking sphere containing a music note within. "Ah, another gift from the ancient Tuners. I'll be taking that." He turns around and then notices you all standing behind him. "Oh, the party poopers are here. Good thing I brought my personal guard with me."



Three crocodiles standing on two feet and holding giant maces fall from the ceiling and stare down your group. "Those things look powerful."

"Handle them while I work on deciphering this code." The gray tuner begins to input something into the carvings decorating the stand the strange sphere was sitting on. The carvings in the room start to glow brightly as well.

Can overloads one of the crocodiles with two songs at once and everyone can feel a strange distortion in the world for a moment as the crocodile drops its weapon and holds its head. It cries out in immense pain and falls to the ground. Its skin starts to distort as its body cannot contain the amount of songs placed in it and it deforms strangely in multiple ways, crying out before returning to its original form and turning completely black. Almost like turning gray, but still holding all its details from before. It then begins to absorb energy all around it before a deafening explosion is heard and all of the crocodiles are nothing but bloodstains. Everyone's ears are still ringing from the sound. They also seem to have destroyed part of the ancient ruins and everyone notices they were launched backward from the blast into the first room. The gray Tuner warps beside Can. "Oh, I like your style. Make 'em suffer before they die. But I'm surprised. Even I'm not cruel enough to kill something by placing two songs in it. The worst pain and suffering a single thing could possibly feel. Not only would it have felt immense physical pain, but it would feel mentally stressed as well. Makes me shiver almost. Well, thanks for the Ancient's Song. I guess I'll see you losers later since you like to follow me." He disappears and Can notices a strange marking on his hand. It emits an odd power and is black colored. The ruins begin to shake violently and you notice gray starting to spread from the room you were just blasted out of.

You all escape from the ruins as they start to turn gray and see the group of archeologist penguins standing around outside, inspecting the ruins. They look surprised.

The archeologist penguins all hastily waddle after you. You all run through the snowy tundra and notice the wolves from before get swallowed up by the gray along with the bunnies. You all run over to the penguin village and can see the gray inching closer in the distance. The penguins all seem confused.
