A lakitu is distributing gold to some of the people in the audience. It seems you can bet on Cucco fights.
The next match is a blue cucco against a brown one.

You go to the dogfight lobby. It's actually a balcony above the sky... ley's hope you don't have vertigo!
There's a Granbull with a red helmet, pilot goggles and a scarf.
Granbull: "Hello there visitors!
Are you interested in some dogfights?
You can enter the rental competition if you have something to give.
There's also the pro competition which is completely free. You require your own flying engine though."

NiGHTS transforms into a fighter plane. It seems she will be your flying engine.
You go in the sky behind the casino, looking at your opponents.
There's Lakithunder. His engine seems to actually be a cloud kart modified into a plane. He also added Tom Blasters to it.
Banjo and Kazooie are sharing a green plane with a purple stripe in the middle.
Your third opponent is Falco in an Arwing.
A lakitu appears in the middle of the sky to start the competition.

Kirbi will float up and eat Ra's attack while I summon Arianna from the Sphere. Have her activate her Force Boost so her orders effect everyone that's an ally. Use Attack Order to heal everyone and raise their offense. I still have the Shadow Rocket Shoes, right? Let's climb up Obelisk Egg Golem style!

Awkward will use his PSI abilities to cast Shield Ω on himself and NiGHTS.
(Here's the effects of this move:
Protect everyone with a power shield. Cuts damage in half and some of the blocked damage is dealt back to the enemy. Using a different shield will cancel these effects.)
NiGHTS will fire machine guns at Lakithunder.

You go straight for Lakithunder, after casting Shield Omega on yourself and NiGHTS. Lakithunder throws a lightning bolt at you. You take half damage and he's shocked himself.
The Tom Blaster shoot Bullet Bills to the side, which Falco dodges by using a Somersault.
Banjo and Kazooie fly around throwing springs at Lakithunder.

There's suddenly a bright white flash. All the vehicles are repaired, in circle around Mr. Fuzz, Lupis (On Kain), you, the small rider and the civilians. Behind you, Malefio and Dracy are imprisoned in translucid cubes.
In front of you, there's Mark. The egyptian gods disappeared, but there's a black pillar behind him, with 9 white human outlines.
You notice a grey humanoid with deer panaches on his head, sitting on top of the pillar.
Dracy777: "What is going on this time?"
Malefio: "M? What do you think you're doing?"
M: "Heh, I was walking in the forest, really excited about Mr. Fuzz fighting Team Mercenary Blue. It was gonna get even MORE epic, before Just showed up... Then Mark showed up and I thought it would get amazing again, but people started to argue about the rules instead...
SO I DECIDED TO CREATE A SUPER DUPER EPIC EVENT WHICH CAN HAVE TERRIBLE CONSEQUENCES!
Also, I needed to get away from the Unborn and I was bored..."
Malefio: "Oh no... I don't like this."
M: "So here's the deal: characters from your orbs cannot be summoned. Everytime Mark kills 3 civilians, he can summon one of the egyptian gods. All items are allowed though. If the heroes defeat Mark, I'm sending him back to The Destructor. If Mark defeats the heroes, I'm handing Dracy and Malefio to him."
Dracy777: "YOU WHAT?"
Malefio: "Come on M... What if Mark actually wins?"
M: "I don't care, I'm talking to the players, not to you. Even if he captures you, he's never gonna get me anyway.
So, what do you guys think?"
Small Rider: "Huh... Why am I involved in this?"
M: "SHUT UP! I ASKED THE PLAYERS!"
Malefio: "This is madness... You can't do this..."
