Putting this here so we can find it easily
Day 01
This new world I've stumbled across looks so fascinating. Creatures I've never imagined would exist can be found here. Otters that can control the waves, palm trees that walk around and act like animals, and even heart shaped fish in the sea. From my studies, these animals can be used as valuable resources. They're great sources of nutrition and their furs and scales are stronger than any metals I've ever seen.
Day 02
This world is beautiful, but dangerous as well. Today, while we were exploring, one of the scientists were eaten alive by a giant shark. We will begin researching a way to make humans stronger in this world. Maybe we can rival the monsters here. If we could find a way to control the energy in this place...
The pages after are torn and worn. Julia starts again at the next visible page.
Day 09
We have finally found a way to tap into the energy. We call it "Soul Key". A mysterious piece of technology that uses the power of the Elemental Souls. It seems to reflect the personality of the person wearing it. Our research will continue.

Something's wrong. The monsters are turning hostile. They attacked us. They destroyed everything. I knew we shouldn't have tried to hunt them for resources. Now they hold a grudge against humans. They have become bloodthirsty. If you're reading this, close the portal. Our worlds should never have come into contact. The project was a mistake.

Well that's partly to boost social stats, partly trying to make Justice's life easier by making links between characters he can use if it helps with the plot, and partly because I need an accomplice to form the Investigative Team Investigation Team. Which is now unofficially a thing.
I have no idea how to bring Lyon or Ava into the fold, though, since Drama's in the middle of their show thing and almost all they do is hang out with each other. Natty met Lyon once, I suppose, but they didn't really interact much...

The first time he nearly took her head off about being called Ava's Brother and the second he was less scowly and apologized. |
