So would you guys prefer that I leave things to be like The Master in terms of the battle and contest and racing and all that or would you rather I provide some more structure toward it? I'm thinking the structure might make the game more interesting/difficult, but it will take away a bit of freedom with choices in what to do with your moves to an extent.

You guys can have multiple characters, by the way. You won't get new Vitmons for every new character, but you will share the Vitmons you have between all your characters. I decided this was a good idea so that you guys could have multiple characters that had different specialties and such. That way not only could you have a character specializing in training your Vitmons, but a character specializing in breeding or raising them, and one that specializes in studying them, and so on.
