The Rules
The objective of the game is to reach floor 100 and defeat the boss. Each player starts off on floor one at level zero. To reach the next floor, you must find the dungeon boss and defeat them. This is a Co-op game, so if one player clears a floor, it is cleared for everyone. Bosses do not respawn, and when killed they drop unique and powerful items.
When your avatar dies, he does not revive unless you have a Revive Crystal or someone with the ability Revive in your party. (There will be receive forgiveness until level 5.) Each player starts with 1000 gold, 1 training weapon, 1 training armor, 1 revive crystal, and 1 piece of bread! Each player will start with base stats of all 10 except HP and Spirit. HP and Spirit start at 100. Stats are…
HP: This shows how many hits you can take until you’re dead. Don’t let it reach zero
Spirit: This shows how much Spirit you have left. Spirit is required to use skills in battle. Once this hits zero, you can’t use skills unless it’s restored.
Strength: This is the basic physical power you have. The higher this is, the more damage physical attacks do.
Defense: This is the basic physical defense you have. The higher this is, the less damage you take from physical attacks.
Intelligence: This is how smart your character is. The higher this is, the stronger your magical attack and healing effect is.
Resistance: This is your resistance to magic. The higher this is, the less damage is taken from magic attacks.
Agility: This is how fast your character is. The higher this is, the more likely you are to act first in battle.
Dexterity: This is how effective your character is with their weapon. The higher this is, the more likely you are to land critical hits.
Skills aren’t learned through normal leveling up. They’re earned through leveling up other skills. Access to the first set of skills is open to everyone, but more advanced skills have prerequisites, Such as Heavy Slash becoming Dual Slash.
The battle system of this game is based on a typical turn based RPG system. Each round the participants use an action, whether it’s something simple such as Attack Goblin or something unusual like Throw Rock. Players may go into parties of 4 at a time, but can also go into groups which consists of four parties. While groups are 16 people and seem powerful, it is somewhat inconvenient as it splits the EXP and Cor among all 16. It is recommended for use only in boss fights or against powerful monsters. There is a front and back row as well. While your physical skill will be weaker in the back row, you will be less likely targeted. Players that kill other players will have their display icon change from green to orange. Enemies have a red display icon.
Exploration is done in a way where the moderator of the exploration gives a simple explanation of the area and the player(s) decides what to do. Players will be attacked by wild monsters when out in the field or they will be able to initiate the attack depending on which sees which first.
Every day, you must consume 1 piece of food in order to leave the main town. (Every day is equal to a game day.) Energy levels only deplete if your character leaves the town for the day. Energy level should be displayed above EXP.
Towns can be viewed in their town topics where you can choose between shops and get quests or you can stay in exploration mode to check out the town and see what there is to do. Some people also enjoy just goofing off in towns and relaxing, which just kind of becomes role playing. Players can buy property such as houses or shops. Houses make it so you can safely rest and recover without having to stay at Inns and pay. There’s no PvP in towns unless its a duel, but that doesn’t mean others can’t steal from you. Each character you control must eat enough food to be able to function each day. If there's a day where you don't eat food, you won't be able to go out exploring or battling. Each i game day is equivalent to a real day. Different rank foods will allow players to go longer without food, but the basic starting food is one Bread each day.
