Here is were you can sign up your character.
Before you look at the character sheet, lets do a quick overview of the mechanics.
All characters start with an observe skill which is both passive and active. Your observe skill allows you to glean information about the enemies and world around you. You may find this information useful, either for furthering your objectives, or understanding more about what is going on within the Land of Vikarus. In addition you can also start with one passive and one active ability of your choice, as well as some very basic weaponry and clothing...
You may find yourself in need of additional items or skills... some of these can be gained from NPCs, but the rest will have to be created at an alter. You can find instructions and materials to make these items while exploring the world. Or you can try to make things without any instructions... Alters can also be used as a resting point, as its divine energy prevents the corrupted monsters that hunt you from entering.
If you die, you will be find that you have been sent slightly backwards in time before your death...
Exploration and Combat is done in a turn-based fashion. How well you do will depend upon your actions and your equipment/abilities.
A final note, everything you discover will be added to the library. But instruction for learning an ability or making an item can only be used if your character has them.

Yay! All done with the boring stuff! Now make your damn characters... three max per person, since we have three starting areas.
There aren't any specific races, they can be human, or some sort of humanoid race. Just don't make them genetically insane, and game or rule changing characters are not allowed.

Name: Milton Sidian
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance: Young man with a tribal mask and a leaf loin cloth. His skin is dark, he has short dark grey hair.
Personality: Likes animals, a bit oblivious about other people's customs.
History: Milton was raised in a shamanic tribe, which respects wildlife over anything else. They have their own customs and don't really leave their tribe. Crabs are their most sacred symbols. Milton is said to be able to communicate with animals and knows many tribal dances. He decided to leave his tribe and see what life has to offer outside of it.
Starting abilities/equipment: Communicating with animals. Tribal Dances. Tribal mask, shamanic staff.
Other: Maybe have a crab follow him at all time?

Gender: None
Race: Golem
Appearance: Big magma golem with an obsidian armor.
Personality: Hates humans.
History: Yarzan was created by a mage capable of manipulating lava to defend him. Yarzan eventually got tired of being a slave, killed his creator and started to enslave people himself.
Starting abilities/equipment: Obsidian armor and obsidian axe. Yarzan is immune to hazardous terrains (lava, acid, etc.)
Other: The magma he's made of is solidified. Yarzan doesn't hurt anyone on contact.

Name: Eve Arrowhead
Gender: Female
Race: Elf
Appearance: Long green hair, attached in a single baird from behind. Tall.
Personality: Eve doesn't trust people and is a lonewolf.
History: Eve lives in a forest and learned to hunt and fend off for herself. She was betrayed by the people of her village and exiled from the forest, left alone to explore the world.
Starting abilities/equipment: Stealthy. Able to build traps.
Other: Haven't seized this game yet. If it's combat heavy, she'll also have a bow.

There will be a decent level of combat... puzzle and hazards are going to be a big deal...
I'd like recommend that eve at least start with basic clothing. So she doesn't walk around naked... haha.
Also, if you want anything specific said about your equipment and abilities PM it to me before I enter it into the library

As for abilities and weapons... I think everything was self-explanatory.
Only thing I have to say is that Milton's tribal dances have no effect. He just has the ability to dance.

Of course Eve has basic clothes xd She'll have her bow too since there's combat. As for abilities and weapons... I think everything was self-explanatory. Only thing I have to say is that Milton's tribal dances have no effect. He just has the ability to dance. Race: Lizardman
Appearance: Somewhat tall lizard creature; green scales and green eyes with gauntlets, belts, and shoulder pads for a strong build
Personality: Heavy doubter, fierce manner and voice
History: Krox is a cave dweller who simply seeks to survive to the next day. However, in light of the new turns the world takes every day, Krox eventually realizes that more action than just fighting and eating will be necessary, so Krox sets off to begin his journey of mental and physical adaptation to the new challenges.
Starting abilities/equipment: Shoddy armor and a spear. Has a heightened sense of smell and can attempt to sniff out specific scents.

Appearance: a torn up zombie fellow, he does look kinda average
Personality: Purrrrrrt........
History: was once Purt's brother that died, yet somehow being a zombie, he is surprisingly mobile

Other: is he really the main villan? probably not. no he is not
