Roxanne shoots a spell at Frankly before posing with a thumbs up. The crowd cheers for her and the SP Gauge starts to fill. Gobokeh appeals, taking pictures of the audience. They cheer and give more SP. Dudley then plays an air guitar, which sounds oddly like a real guitar for some inexplicable reason. The crowd cheers and provides more SP. Kameron then yells at the audience, telling them to give him SP. The audience cheers for him and gives more SP, causing the gauge to fill.
Frankly: Well done. Now, use that mysterious mirror you have. Choose to Summon an ally!
The mirror glows and shows a reflection of Goombella before she hops out of it. She looks to a party member and gives them a wink, making it so they gain an extra turn to move this turn.
Frankly: And that's the basics on SP! You can continue to fill your gauge and summon specific allies that way. You'll gain more allies as you continue along. You will also gain more SP gauges to fill. Some Summon abilities require more than one gauge to use. I believe that is all.
The stage disappears and everyone is standing where they originally were.
Frankly: And that is the gist of it. Here is your map back. It shows where all of the shards are.
Looking at the map, it shows the entire world on it. You're definitely in another world. It looks like the first star shard is in a forest to the north...
Goombella: That mirror seems pretty useful, doesn't it? You guys can count on me to help out when you need it most. Just use the mirror and I'll come right by your side!

Goldie: Well, now what? I guess we can go on ahead to that forest.
Bloopington: Yes, that would be the most logical course of action.

Tulip runs up to Nax, seeing him on the roof and the two of them are sucked into the mysterious graffiti M.
Upon falling into the hidden world, the two find themselves on a stage. There's an audience watching and cheering. The stage's background looks like it's made up entirely of paint splatters. Bowser Jr. comes running in from the right side of the stage.
Bowser Jr.: Gwaha! You thought you could beat me by sending me to another world? No way! I know you did this, Mario. You couldn't beat dad fair and square because he's too awesome! Now you're gonna have to pay for sending us all here! ...? You're not Mario! That makes me angry! I'll just have to capture you and use you as bait to bring Mario here! Yeah!
