Just put the note on the altar and play the song. :P
Depends on what the RNG GODDESS wants from my list of possible fire dragons.
Crow, I only give you weird animals with random objects. And I only give B-Ball Mage awkwardly basketball related monsters. Oh, and Jill's monsters are all capable of speech despite the rareness of it for some reason. Who am I kidding? This group throws all the rules out the window. Let's just say it's a part of the Symphony Summon craziness.

Oh... Most Note Beasts can't speak? Or do they only speak to their controller...?

Usually they don't speak. But that's a little out of the window at this point.

Oh... Whoops. Just pretend everything Tulip's been saying has been a series of mysterious snickers and Vie's been warking a lot.

Diana's next skill had to be Spiral Streams so I'll have to wait on starting her supportive skills, but I can at least start giving Melody better skills...

Mia skills
Fire Chain: Mia breathes a ring of fire around a group of enemies, dealing low fire damage and decreasing enemy fire resistance for two turns. Enemies that are burned take x1.5 damage.
Flare: Mia breathes a ball of bright light into the air. Medium chance to blind enemies for 3 turns.
Are these okay, Misty?

Outside Notewood Forest!? WHERE ELSE IS THERE? Seriously, though. Other than the Dusk Plains and Frozen Mountains.

Lots of places. The ruins of Melodis are pretty close, you can probably reach the ruins of Knight Academy, oh, and there's more ruins you can visit too.

OK... uh... how about something in the not-ruins department? Like... maybe a desert or a nice lake or... a farm...?
To be fair, I have no idea what Melodis or Knight's Academy were but I am curious about them there ruins.

There are train ruins, a crystal cave, a desert, a steppe, volcanic path, abandoned castle, the ocean, a few small villages here and there, and uhhhhhhh other places.

Exploring the ruins sounds like a good idea, if anywhere is going to have Notes it's the places that kept a large amount of them. Mars would probably be the best one to send to Knight's Academy since he was a member of it, and Jonathan could lead a team to Melodis. That being said, we've got a bit of a problem in that we now have more than twice as many members as we have leaders. In the future will we be able to form parties that don't contain one of the leaders?

You can form parties without leaders in them whenever you need. That was just something Malefio suggested while you were putting them together the first time.

Umm well maybe not leaders per say (well maybe for the important missions or stort missions) but maybe some of the vets from the first one could help us out even if they are still new people.
Oh and Just how is death handle in the game. Is it permadeath and what happens if a note beast is knocked out in battle? Are they dead? Unable to fight until they are revived, something else?
