Ghost Mansion

Vram waits behind a tree, trying to hide. When a ghost will get startled by Smash, Vram will try sucking it in.

(Now is fine. We can just say she came with them.)

Smash sneaks up on a ghost without any second thought and smashes it with his hammer. Ectoplasmic goo splatters everywhere and the other ghost lets out a terrified scream that only Linda can hear. It's then sucked up by Vram rather easily as it's too shocked to struggle back. Well, that's one way to do it. This place doesn't appear clear of ghosts yet, however. The party moves forward through the front yard and finds themselves reaching a garden. There's a large fountain here surrounded by red roses. It's quiet. Too quiet. Eerily quiet. Linda can hear someone singing to themselves a bit. It's the sound of a woman's voice. There must be an invisible ghost nearby. "Lalalaaa~ Tending to the garden~ Tending to the garden~ Tending to the garden is my job~" Everyone can clearly see a floating pair of hedge clippers tending to the bushes and keeping them trim. The fountain appears to be filled with four ghost fish. They look kind of cute, actually. They swim around, paying no mind to the party. Linda can hear what the fish are saying to themselves. "Swim swim swim."

The group gets a message from Professor Ghast. "Oh my, there appears to be a Boss Ghost where you currently are. Those are very rare types of ghosts. If you capture them, you'll be rewarded even greater and it will help us to further our research."

"Well if they didn't want to get crushed then they shouldn't have just floated there. Not my fault they made themselves an easy target."

"Oh, dearie, don't mind me. I'm simply here to garden. It is my life's work. Of course, I also have to protect the mansion from any pesky humans that try to get in. These hedge clippers aren't just for show. Hohoho!" She hasn't noticed that your a human yet, it seems. She thinks your a ghost. You can probably guess this is a senile, old ghost. The others don't hear who Linda is talking to and it just seems like she's talking to herself for the most part. Vram looks around for anything electrical, but only sees some lampposts outside. They appear to be off right now though. They were probably put there originally to light up the walkway to the mansion entrance.

Oh humans miss you mean they come around here often. Did they trample your flowers or something?

Linda notices Smash and Varm are beating up a light post.

Linda falls back towards Smash and Varm. What exactly are you trying to do. The nice old ghost is just tending to flowers and is on the lookout for humans.

The hedge clippers are how she fights. Thankfully she doesn't know humans are here yet despite the fact I was right there. She appears to be a bit senile if she thinks she was talking to a ghost the whole time I was there. (Giggles a bit)
