Out of curiosity, why was Somnis started at a point prior to the rest of the party and not simply at the same point in time as everyone else?

Somnis was started at the beginning because she helps fill in a few plot holes and feels more real if she's been there the whole time. It also makes the story more interesting from her side of the story instead of simply saying "ehhhh more other world stuff because lol new people"
"Oh, yeah, I can kind of tell. She blushes a lot when I'm around her."

Best? I like Somnis the best. She feels special to me since she's the product of everyone's hard work. Even the players here helped shape her in a way!
Worst? I...dunno. I don't particularly dislike everyone.
Favorite to play as? Definitely Buttons. But only when Somnis is around. Her bluntness just absolutely destroys his creepy facade. And when she calls him cute, it's just hilarious.

Were some characters specifically meant to be paired with a certain player character? Not particularly. I made each character to have different personalities instead of focusing on matching them with someone. That way you'd be drawn to your favorite personality naturally. |

He's okay. Kind of like a pop tart themed Joey. A little bit...overboard at times though. Pouring milk on a boss without equipment is irresponsible. I wouldn't date him. He doesn't seem particularly compatible with anyone, but...maybe Jimmy? Oh, wait, pop tart PTSD. |

I know Julia doesn't particularly like Karl, but she refuses to leave him behind/reject him like the others.
As for myself, I felt like Karl's poptart gimmick got old pretty quickly, but Pie eventually diversified things so he still makes me laugh from time to time.
