Arcade Mode is a spinoff of The Master where you can either challenge 100 floors of fighters to eventually battle M, wether you challenge it solo or in co-op. You can use any character you want to tackle each floor. Certain floors have rules which might limit the characters you can pick though.
I thought the arborescence for THE MASTER was getting annoying, so I archived the main game and kept Arcade Mode.
