That Status Ailment Resist buff really changed the dynamic of how this was going to go... In theory, you were going to have 2 rounds to soften up that 2nd wave of enemies, then all be asleep and stuck on a timer to beat Hypnos before the gate broke, but fighting him all together.
Also the fact you unluckily picked rainbow-element mages and a pair of cleric-types was... not good for you.

Bowser grabs the medicar and runs over to Tai alongside Bowser, then Bowser grabs Harrow who still has Tai in her mouth and proceeds to bodyslam her... though she brings Tai along with her. She controls the fall enough to avoid the fungi, but the impact's still enough to knock her and Tai both out. Tai still seems to have control of the Mi-go, at least.
Mog casts Star Block on the gate at the remaining fungi swarm it. Their attacks don't seem to do much.
Levichan despairs and loses some SP, then defends.
Gugu decides to be a bit more proactive. He decides that he's now a ten story tall raccoon and then he is a ten story tall raccoon. He proceeds to stomp on Hypnos before he can react.
Hypnos peels himself out of the impact crater with a pained groan. "You... I am the master of this domain!" He grows in size to match Gugu and throws a punch with dizzying force behind it.
Bowser: 55%/100%

Tai: KO, controlling Mi-go
