You examine the plants in detail. This is certainly interesting. It really does look almost exactly like coral. It feels like coral, too. Which would make it not a real plant, but a structure of tiny dead... things. Interesting. Something like this can't survive long on land. Well, it just confirms this as a dream.

You can hear people walking around out in the mist. There's a few hushed, confused conversations, but you can't make them out. You can hear something... else, as well. It sounds like... the... wind...? Probably.

The ground feels vaguely like dirt, but a bit more coarse. Closer to sand, really. You scoop up a bit and let it flow from your hand - you notice that the ground beneath is tightly packed, more like clay. When the sand-like topsoil finishes flowing through your fingers, you're left with a few larger chunks. Closer examination reveals them to be... small shell fragments, maybe? You're not entirely sure. Maybe this place used to be a lake? Or near an ocean? It's hard to see very far.

You walk off without saying anything to the dream people. You follow what you think is the path towards the sound. You can tell you're drawing closer to the sound, and you realize it's less a wind-in-the-trees sound and more... like something dragging along the ground.

You keep following the sound. Behind you, you hear something about spaghetti. Up ahead, a human-sounding shriek rings out in the direction of the crawling. It's briefly followed by a loud crashing noise. Through the fog you can barely make out the form of... something moving... Something big. And... octopus like. Are you having an underwater dream? Minus the water?

Somehow, rather than sounding insane, you sound like you're doing some sort of vocal excercise. Still, one of the two girls immediately takes off running, while the other begins to spin in place. What. Well, it is a dream. After a few seconds, in the direction that other guy walked off, you hear a distant shriek.

One of the dudes wanders off. After examining the dirt, the other girl suddenly darts off running. Meanwhile, the guy with the mustache starts shouting something about spaghetti. In response, you begin spinning in a circle.

You spin in mighty circles, with all the power of a tiny-tiny tornado. Yet you do not feel ill nor become dizzy. Which is handy when you hear a shriek in the distance, but you're still able to tell vaguely which way it came from.
