Go to the lady that I helped earlier.

Credit and intimidate then. I think those are the highest two.
Actually, it might be intimidate and charm. Uhh...whichever two are the highest.

Charm and credit are tied.
Cyrus Thompson
Cyrus' Charm and Intimidate checks: Hidden
You attempt to demonstrate your superiority to the sketchy Australian guy by confronting the sketchy lab lady just as the other nerdy-looking girl leaves. You stand behind her with your arms crossed. She turns and bumps into you. You give her an ultimatum to tell you what she knows. She gives you a blank stare. "Oh..."
She regards you silently for a moment. "Not much... Yet." A sheepish grin slowly spreads over her face. It's decidedly creepy. "Y'know... You're kinda cute... Hey, if you ever learn anything interesting, how about you give me a call...? You can come over to my place one night and we can... compare notes...? Heh... heh... heh..."
Swaltzer Rickenduffle
You head back to find sheep-head wandering around the midway again. She's still trying at the bell-ringing game. As you approach, she hefts the comically oversized hammer and drops it on the target with a grunt of effort. The weight goes flying up the shaft, and stops just short of the bell. She pouts. The guy running the game shrugs. She doesn't seem to have noticed you walking up.

"Here." Hand her a flyer to the bar. "If you want to talk to me more, come see me and buy a drink. The number's on there."
Head back to Mr. Australia. "She knows nothing. Yet. You're welcome." Hand him another flyer and tell him to give it to a friend. Tell him if he ever needs ol Cyrus, show up and buy a drink. Customers don't just come for the alcohol, you know. Then lets go over to that giant tent. See whats up.

The Australian guy takes the second flier with a confounded expression. He makes himself scarce when he notices Delia looking towards the two of you, and you take that as your chance to go check out the big top.
There's a beefy, none-too-bright-looking guy in front of the entrance turning people away, other than a few people carrying props and equipment in. There's a few heavy-looking things sitting around outside the entrance. Looks like there's plenty of ways you could go about sneaking in, if you want to peek at what's going on inside.
Swaltzer Rickenduffle
The sheep-haired girl perks up a bit at the sound of your voice. She twists her neck around and gives you a bashful smile. "Hehe... Maybe a bit. It's harder than it looks."

"What's the show? Why can't I go in right now? Hiding something?"
Roll for Credit and Intimidate. I do not trust any form of sneaking skills that Cyrus has in the slightest. Especially not with a size of 17.

You attempt to go right through the guy blocking the door.
Cyrus' Intimidate check: 35/55 - Minor Success Cyrus' Credit Rating check: 62/35 - Failure
You ask what the show is, why you can't go in, and if he's hiding something. You attempt to look important and intimidating, but he doesn't seem particularly impressed. He's a bit of a tough guy, himself.
"A standard traveling circus affair, because they're setting up, and yeah, everything inside the tent."

"Alright. Take this." Hand him a flyer for the bar and walk off toward the police officer and annoying girl asking her questions.
"Do you know anything about these stupid monsters? They're bothering my customers. And that annoys me."
Roll for Credit and Charm. I guess for both of them.

(Another case of "it's a tutorial, I'll help give ideas about how to CoC." Carrying a heavy thing with STR to look busy, like one of the worker guys. Fast Talk to be a worker guy. Or just really convincing RP. Sneak in to the tent from the far side. Or look around for ideas.)

The guard balls up the flier you hand him. You notice he doesn't throw it away, though. Instead, he pockets it.
You manage to overhear a bit of the police officer and reporter's conversation. Something about a serial-killing ghost. The woman who was talking to Delia earlier is there, too. The police officer just asked if she needed something, but you cut in and introduce yourself.
Cyrus' Charm checks: 53/25 - Failure, 25/35 - Success Cyrus' Credit Rating checks - 73/35 - Failure, 15/35 - Success
The reporter doesn't seem to particularly care. "Yeah? That's great."
The police officer, on the other hand, seems interested. "Really? A bar owner? Heh." She runs a hand through her hair to pull it out of her face and smiles. "You know, my great-grandfather, a detective, used to run around with a bar owner. They got into some wild adventures together. Well... until something happened..." She looks somehow nostalgic for something she'd never actually experienced. "U-um, anyway, what did you need?"
You ask about the stupid monsters. Both of them seem to perk up at the mention of monsters, for wildly different reasons.
"Yeah?" the reporter asks. "What sorta things are your customers saying?"
The officer's eyes darken. "...You shouldn't be investigating this sort of thing, you know. My great-grandpa's best friend was killed by one of those sorts of monsters. Leave investigating that sort of thing to the professionals."
The reporter scoffs.
Francis McStein
A big, burly guy showed up and rudely interrupted you. But you aren't sure you want to make a big deal of that. He looks like a bit of a badass. Black outfit, leather jacket, sunglasses...
They start talking about monsters.

(Yeah... This isn't gonna be Julia 2)
Kayla takes out her camera and takes a photo of the fairy.
"Well... A stick wasn't the best weapon heh? Now, you're pretty lucky I'm not a policeman, these guys would probably have shot you on the spot.
I'm not gonna eat you, that's for sure"
Sarcasm: "Maybe your wings, they must taste like butterflies."
Normal: "Anyway... I'm not sure how to deal with you... You're one of these... "monsters" people are talking about right?"

"Mostly mysterious disappearances and destruction of property. There's always the occasional kid or spouse going mysteriously missing too. But it's getting on my nerves. When your customers slowly start to stop showing up, one by one, it's not good for business and it's not good for your sanity either." He then notices the cat following Francis. "Hm...cute." He'll motion for it to approach and see what happens.

Francis
Oh so that's what was going on. Heard so.e of the other techs over at the Dragon Turtle chemical Inc but wasn't really paying it to much attention. Wait customers do you work at a supermarket, or place like Wallart or Bull's Eye?
Francis then notices he's trying to motion for Kitty.
Oh no you don't you activated my trap. I give Kitty a piece of $5 suspicious Sushi. You have no idea what I had to go through to get Kitty to follow me. So many stalls, So many stalls.
(Also why not? Because being the Avea of the campaign means the RNG is constantly going to be against me. Which means the cat will fall heads over heels for you and you will magically speak cat.)
