Yeah because keeping it a secret and them finding out would have been an even better idea from you know our bosses and someone who owns all sorts of high tech toys. Pretty sure they always has eyes on someone they consider an ambassador. Yeah not like they have him under constant surveillance right. They would never find out eventually and this whole situation wouldn't be 100x worse then what it is.

If it was a smaller company or a company that wasn't technological advance then maybe we could get away with it. If we were the freaking ambassador or someone in such high standings like some grunt worker then sure lets lie our buts off. Chances are low level grunts aren't monitored as reagurly as someone with a title. These people from the hints Punk has been dropping are some of the most powerful arms dealing in this world. So you don't think they have eyes and ears everywhere. Like Santa they know everything Logan has done. So we chose to bite the bullet now and get this over with and take whatever punishment. Instead of dragging this out and having this come and bite us in the ass much later down the road.

I know your salty about the decision but hey I am salty about going there in the first place. If we went to Newark first there would be no secret fusion to hide. There would be no having to explain hey why did you chose to abandon a city that needs you for personal reasons. So just admit hey going to Japan was done with our hearts and maybe should have thought about it some more instead of immediately jumping in there head first.

We were a four armed gray alien chick in Japan and they clearly didn't know the Crystal Gems are capable of this, possibly not even teleportation. How the hell were they even going to suspect that was us? At worst they would have thought we were shirking our duties as an ambassador to hang out with some kid if someone saw us going into his house, and while we still may have gotten fined or even court-marshaled for blowing off our job we wouldn't be putting other people at risk too. Best case scenario is that when they inevitably attempt to capture the Gems and find a way to forcibly fuse them with other agents they fail and the only thing ruined is the Gems' faith in humanity (or just us). Worst case they succeed and now you've got a human-gem hybrid who's likely unstable due to the fusion being somehow forced (probably some kind of machine) and hating their creators for thinking of them as nothing but a weapon, with this hatred possibly even extending to humanity in general. In other words, what we told them may lead to the creation of basically anime Mewtwo with no guarantee things work out as well in the end.

I'm leaning towards 2, but... Question. Did they, like, politely ask him to come in or more drag him out of the cockpit at gunpoint? What's the UA policy on lawyers in court martials?

2. Give them the Intel we gathered on the potential alien scum threat. And how they seem nice if a bit uneasy around humanity.


Also no one here probably realizes that if the EVAs were destroyed and an angel got into NERV the world would end, but... Y'know. We can be proud of not suddenly get a tumbling down ending out of nowhere...
