Stompaz Exterminatus, Inc. Dial H for Heresy Hotline Glay... glay... Syl... syl... Glay... syl... Glacial... erm... sylglay... Glacial Sigil? Fighting Pachyderms Hellrazors (Ow the Edge) (Yes the Stuff in Parenthesis is Included) (Yes Even This Part) East Side Westernerss Cowpeople (wait, that's probably offensive to Bushi...) Rising Steam Vents 102nd Imperial Legion
Running Dogs sounds like we run away a lot... We don't want that. You'd want, like... Wardog. But that's my guild's name in the actual games, so no. It's taken. Also, preemptively, Crows can't run. They can only hop. Is cute. Or, y'know, fly, but...

To explain Yoshi's suggestion, it's a reference to an older CYOA called Gates of Bowser's Castle. Since dying could happen as a result of one or two particularly bad moves against a tough enemy (mitigated by the fact that a new character from whichever franchise we picked out of a list of nominations would instantly take their place) we quickly learned that discretion is the better part of valor, something which eventually earned us the nickname he's suggested.

"You guys should pick Etrian Odyssey so we can bind Wonder Woman's gauntlets which is LITERALLY HER WEAKNESS."
"What if we didn't and got the ninja turtles killed instead?"
"*sigh*"
A short summary of my role in that game. That pendragon guy ALWAYS argued with me. And then we were friends in Pikmin Wars. Literally allies. Strongest airforce and navy. Uh...what were we talking about? Ah, yes, name. Are you going with Running Dogs?

I don't like it. But I also don't have any better suggestions.

Miasma.
That's my final answer for name nominations.

Okay, so you have Running Dogs or Miasma. Who wants what?

I like my new suggestion The Glay Glayers of Justice. Or how about we split the difference and call them The Running Miasma

Dogs Running Away From Miasma? Nah, that's too long of a name.

Works for me. It's like Diamond Dogs, but likely to kill you with disease instead of neck snapping.

"I have an idea. Miasma Dogs."
Lucia smiles at your response. "That's a nice name. I like it."
"The Miasma Dogs! I can tell we're already going to make a great team!" Terra is beaming.
The guild master steps forward and addresses your new guild, The Miasma Dogs. "Alright, it looks like the six of you are ready for your first mission as a team." You suddenly feel a burst of excitement. A mission already? What could it be? "Here you go, a map of the town. I want you to go around to each of these facilities. They're very important for adventurers." The guild master hands you a map.
Erin stares over your shoulder at the map for a moment. "...That's it?"
"Well, I can't just toss you in the labyrinth immediately! Don't worry. I'll give you a real mission when you come back after visiting all those places. And don't try to come back without going to all of those places. I'll know if you do."
Your guild members all look to each other before you nod to the guildmaster and you all head off on your way to the first marked location.
The first stop is the inn. When you walk in, you see a young man at the front counter. He looks up from some sort of papers he's filling out and moves some of his mid length blond hair out of the way of his face. His blue eyes glance at you all quickly before avoiding you entirely and looking off to the side. "Welcome to Dragon Roost Inn. How can I help you?"
You explain to the young man that you're new adventurers.
He responds in a quiet voice. "Oh, a new guild. Welcome to Lloiger. My name's Reyson. I run the inn here. Most people exploring the labyrinth stay here. I'm guessing you're going to want a room?"
You nod to him.
"Alright. I'll make sure to get some rooms ready for all of you." He scribbles something down on a piece of paper. "Other than a place to stay, I can provide a few medical services. If someone gets badly hurt in the labyrinth, bring them here. I think that's everything. Be nice to the other guilds and there shouldn't be any problems."
You thank the young man.
"Have a good day and come again."
Stepping out of the inn, Terra speaks up. "He seemed like he was sad about something. I wonder what it was..."
Erin speaks from behind you, but you don't know when she got there. "It's best not to stick your nose in other people's business. Leave him be."
You decide to move on from the inn and head over to the next marked location, the item shop.
When you enter the item shop, you see a wide variety of things for sale in here. A strange girl with black hair worn in pigtails stands there, watching you as you enter and look around. She giggles while watching you. "Hello, welcome to The Bat Forge. You must be new. I like new people." She then giggles again to herself.
She's a bit young to run a shop by herself. You ask if she really is the owner of this place.
"Of course I am! Looks can be deceiving you know. I run this shop all on my own. Adventurers bring me their materials to sell and I turn them into all kinds of things. I do love to experiment with all kinds of materials..." She giggles a bit more. "If you ever find anything in the labyrinth, you should sell it to me so that I can make it into equipment and items. Then I sell it back to you. It's a mutually beneficial service. You bring me new things and I can sell you new things. Makes sense, right?"
You nod. You then ask why there are bats everywhere and why she's wearing various bat patterns on her clothes.
She giggles before responding. "Bats are the best of all animals, didn't you know? They're my favorite."
You thank the girl for her help and then ask what her name is.
"You can call me Keese. I look forward to doing business with you in the future..." She giggles as you all step outside.
"That was...interesting." Lucia seems at a loss for what to say.
"She's almost as creepy as Hex." Terra seems to be slightly shaken from just being in the store.
Hex then stands behind Terra and you feel the entire area become cold, seeing Terra visibly shake for a moment. "...Yes. That girl was...creepy." You feel like Hex didn't mean to make that sentence as terrifying as possible, but she somehow managed to do that anyway.
Terra is clearly uncomfortable and suggests that the guild move onward. "Let's go to the next location on the list! What's up next? The...bar? Let's go!"
She grabs your arm and starts to drag you off with the others following behind.
Entering the bar, you notice multiple other guilds are around here, sitting at tables and eating food while they share stories of their adventures. The barkeep looks over at you when you enter. You notice she has red hair and eyes and is...very tall and muscular. "Hey, I haven't seen your face around here before! You must be a new guild here for the festival. I'm Scarlet, the barkeep here."
You ask Scarlet what makes this place so important to adventurers.
"You see, there's a lot of people that come here and put up requests for guilds to help them out with. Usually something like 'Kill this thing' or 'Find that thing'. But the reward makes it all worthwhile. The only problem is, you guys aren't really a full guild yet, are you? Where's your guild card?"
You realize that she's right. You don't actually have a guild card.
"Ha, don't worry about it! If you guys don't have one yet, you can easily get one from the Explorer's Guild! I can't do anything for you right now, but come back to the Drunken Ferret when you're registered, alright?"
You thank Scarlet and head on out of the bar, back over to the Explorer's Guild
When you enter, the guild master is standing there and looks up at you from some official paperwork. "Welcome back! It looks like you went around everywhere. While you were gone, I put together your guild card for you. With this, you'll be officially recognized as a guild and allowed to go into the labyrinth and take on requests at the bar as well as special missions directly from the mayor from time to time."
You receives the Guild Card.
"Now then, before I can send you off to fight actual enemies, how about some basic training? Don't worry, I'm just going to test out your skills and see how you do with things. Nothing too big. I just want to see where your specialties lie."
Will add in choices later, but someone should probably remind me
