You wake up in some sort of bedroom and can feel that the entire room is moving somehow. Mike is sleeping in the other bed in this room. It's a fairly simple bedroom. You feel like you were knocked out somehow and don't remember how you got here. Opening the sliding door into the hallway, you see various other rooms in a long hallway with random passengers of all kinds on board. Short, flat people walk around the area with little worker hats on. You assume they're probably employees. They all perform various small tasks along the train. Looking out a large window in the hallway, you notice that you're currently in space. It looks like you're on some sort of golden train running along golden tracks.
Looking around the area, you notice a mysterious altar sitting at the side of the door you just came out of. Looking through the passengers, only one really catches your eye as being different. A small, spherical, yellow ball. Only it has little arms and legs. And a cute face. It wanders around and looks kind of lost. There's two doors at either end of the train car. One that's closer to the front of the train looks like another passenger cart and another that's closer to the back looks like some sort of restaurant on the train where you can buy food.

lets explore around. if this train is a spaceship there has to be other novakids here. since novakids use space trains. or it could be stolen. but there is no harm in exploring

closer to the front. there has to be more novakids piloting the ship or some penguin workers around (following starbound logic)

You head to the next train car closest to the front. There, you notice it's similar to the last room. There's more two dimensional worker people in here along with various passengers. You do notice, however, that there's two interesting passengers here. A blue dinosaur-like creature with a star pattern on him is in here. There's also someone that looks similar to you. He's another Novakid, but he's green colored. He's also wearing cowboy-like clothing and a blue, glowing creature is following him around as well. Likely his pet. You notice the next train car over is the front of the train, where the conductor probably is.

"Nice to meet ya. This is the Golden Express. People ride it all over the place. Right now, we're headed on our way to the Comet Observatory. You must have fallen and hit your head when the train started and forgot some things. Don't worry though. You should be safe here. There aren't any monsters on the train and it only stops in towns, so you don't have to worry about getting attacked while you're still gathering yourself together. Take your time to relax for a bit. The train should be arriving soon. In the meantime, feel free to ask me any questions you have. Maybe I can help jog your memory."

"Alright, I can show you around the train." He motions for you to follow, taking you over to the front in the conductor's room. There, you notice that the train is being run by a giant turtle dragon. He looks kind of angry.
"Hey, you stupid Game and Watch people! Get moving! You're taking too long! We'll never get there like this! Grar!" He stomps and shakes the entire room, causing the flat people to panic and run around, attempting to work faster.
"That there's Bowser. He's the conductor of the Golden Express. Some people said he once ruled a kingdom that got overthrown and now runs this train instead for work."
"GRAAARRR! Why are there passengers in here? Get out! You can't be in here while the train is moving!"
"...Maybe we should leave for now." Sam takes you out of the conductor's room and over to the passenger cars again. "These are just normal passenger cars. People riding the train are usually around here. You can meet some interesting folks here sometimes. Interesting to hear their stories. You can also rest in your room over there. Speaking of your room, it looks like you left something of yours out here. What's that strange altar?" He points out the mysterious altar that's at the side of the door to your room. You don't know where it came from, but it's just sort of been glowing ominously there. Looking a bit closer, you notice some sort of cryptic message.
"Find the one with insight into the future and bring her here. With her sheep, you will find the skeleton."
It makes...no sense at all. Maybe you should be on the lookout for people that can see into the future. "Alright, follow me on over here." Sam takes you to the restaurant area, where you see a young man wearing chef's clothing cooking up dishes right in front of his customers and selling them to him. "This here is the restaurant car. You can get food from Sachi over there, but you gotta pay him for that. Either that or bring your own ingredients. I hear his cooking is really good." As you walk through the restaurant car, you notice that yellow ball from before is sitting at a table and ordering practically everything on the menu before sucking it all up in his mouth and swallowing it whole. Impressive.
You then continue to the last car of the train. It's full of various boxes and cargo. "This is just the storage area. Lots of boxes and cargo and things. Maybe one day they'll renovate this room into something else. For now it's just storage though. Nothing really interesting in here. Well, I guess the very back of the train is interesting." He motions for you to follow and takes you over to the very back of the train. At the very back of the train, you step out of the car and into a dome shaped glass window. You have a pretty good view of space from here. Looking down, you see the golden tracks the train is running on. They magically appear in the front and disappear in the back. Down below, you can see the world as well. And the moon floating close by. You also see the Comet Observatory not far from here. It looks like you're going to be arriving soon.
"Well, that's everywhere. Anything coming back to you?"

"Hmm..." Sam thinks to himself for a moment before you all notice the train stop.
Bowser's voice echoes through the speakers on the train. "Hey, this is the Comet Observatory. If this is your stop, you better get off."
The doors on the train open up and you notice passengers both leaving and entering the train.

You stay on the train and watch as the yellow puffball from before walks off along with a floating hand following him. Replacing them, five new people get on board. A purple wind spirit with a lot of stage presence, a guy in overalls wearing a green hat, and a blond haired girl with a crossbow. The last people to get on board are really interesting. What looks like an Oshawott with yoshi colors and a pikachu wearing a lab coat get on board. Immediately, as they step on the train, something begins to glow brightly in your pocket. The green sphere you have is giving off an intense glow.
"Wow, your sphere things are interacting with each other. Do you two know each other or something?" Sam looks at both of you in surprise.
Yoshi
You board the train with Flurrie, Papaya, and Luigi. When you step on, you see that there's a few random passengers here and there along with two dimensional people going around and working on the train. Standing and having a conversation with a green, glowing cowboy guy is a orange, glowing cowboy guy. You also notice there's a guy standing next to the orange cowboy dude. He strikes you as a Mike for some reason. The green cowboy guy also has a cute little blue creature following him around. Must be his pet. As you get on the train and the doors start to close, you notice two bright lights in the area.
The sphere you have is glowing brightly in reaction to something in the cowboy's pocket. When he takes it out, you realize he also has a sphere! The green cowboy makes a comment on this. "Wow, your sphere things are interacting with each other. Do you two know each other or something?"
