Crow
The three of you make your way down the tree and start heading off across the plains in the direction of the nomads. Along the way, you see a few flowers here and there and everything seems peaceful. Hard to believe this place turns into some sort of foggy hell at night. You eventually catch up to the nomads as they seem to have set up a small camp. Those giant lions are sleeping around the camp, acting as guards in a way. As you approach, the green one opens one eye, but simply closes it afterward, deeming you not a threat. The tribe seems to be made up almost entirely of people with lion ears and tails. They wear clothing made mostly of leaves. There's also quite a few sheep around and what looks like a traveling merchant. The merchant looks kind of like a small carrot with claws. Which is weird. And he's selling various kinds of mushrooms.
As you approach, one of the red haired lions looks up at you and he waves, greeting you with a smile. "Hello! Welcome!"

Crow lands on Terra's shoulder and innocently chirps a few times. He's going to let her handle this.
"So... um... Hi, I guess?" Terra says. "We're kind of new to this area. It's a long story. Could you tell us a bit about the stuff that's around? You guys look like you know your way around."
Crow flaps and gestures towards the merchant's wares. "And, uh, could you tell us a bit about the economy? Local money and trading customs and whatnot?"

"This place Sunshine Plains. At night, very dangerous if not have fire. Stay close to fire or go big town, stay safe. Castle Town big trade. Big money. Use gold for buy, but sometime can trade for things. Watch example." The lion eared man walks up to the mysterious mushroom merchant and hands him what looks like gold coins. "This gold. Use buy." The merchant hands him a mushroom. He then takes out what looks like the pelt of a hellhound and hands it to the merchant. "This trade. Only get if fair." The merchant looks at the pelt for a moment before accepting it and handing him another mushroom.
He then walks back over to you. "Use trade most, but sometime gold. Not have much, so sometime trade better. Very common poor areas."
Sparky looks up at the both of you. "I think he's trying to say that you can use both gold and trade to get what you want here. Castle Town is really big on trade here too."
He nods. "Yes. Sorry not speak well. Verian speak with heart, not with mouth."
"They speak a different language that doesn't require the use of sound. It's sort of like psychic communication." Sparky explains a bit clearer for you.

"Heart, heart, heart," Crow echoes.
"Huh. Cool..." Terra says. "So, uh... we don't really have any money or anything worth trading. But what's with the mushrooms? And where do Verians... come from? Where will we be able to find you guys in the future when we actually do?"
Crow flaps his wings. "Blue."
"Oh, yeah. And do you know anything about... a sage with blue wings...?"

"Rock sell mushroom. He mushroom salesman. All kind mushroom. Different effect. Very interesting." He then seems confused with your where do Verians come from question. "Where Verian come from...? Oh, well, when man love woman very much..."
"I don't think that's what they meant..." Sparky interrupts. "The Verian tribe here has always lived on the plains, migrating around and surviving on their own. Of course, there are non tribal Verians too. This is simply how the lions live."
"If ever look for us in future, can probably find here. Look for Green and Blue." He motions toward the giant lions. You guess that's probably their names. "Sage with Blue Wing...never heard. Not know." He shakes his head and seems disappointed that he can't help you with finding this mysterious sage.

"Well, thanks for all the help," Terra says.
Crow thinks about what he knows about lion social dynamics and flaps over to the Verian's shoulder and bops his head against his neck before returning to his perch on Terra's shoulder.
"Er... OK, then? I guess we'll be on our way. Off to the castle town, then."
On the way to drop Sparky off at the Castle Town, quiz Sparkster about what he knows about the Morikiri Forest, the magical forest, and Volcano Castle.

The Verian looks at you strangely after you hit your head on his neck, but he doesn't question it.
Your group of three starts off on their way to Castle Town, asking Sparky questions about the surrounding areas along the way. "The Mokiri Forest? That place is pretty creepy. Its where that fog comes from and probably the monsters too. I heard that there's some sort of creepy cult there too. It all sounds very sketchy."
"The magic forest is a lot friendlier. There's a bunch of fairies that live there. I think they're fighting some monsters from the Mokiri Forest though. It seems like both forests don't mix together well. We call that place Ringford."
"The volcano castle belongs to this big, scary turtle guy named Bowser. But you don't have to worry about him. He promised to leave everyone alone. I haven't been there in a long time though. Things might be different there now."

"Got it," Terra says. "Anything else we should know about this world?"
During the rest of the trip once they're done talking, Terra will practice her magic while Crow occasionally leaves her shoulder, does a few simple aerial tricks, then comes back.

"Hmm...I can't really think of anything. I think that's all." Sparky takes out his apple and eats it along the way until you finally reach Castle Town.

You head out into the Sunshine Plains and notice that the sun is starting to set. You'll have to get to Castle Town quickly if you want to make it before the night comes in with the fog. You also notice that there's a few other places you could go. To the south is a large castle that looks like it's under siege. To the west is a huge canyon, where you can see dragons. The Fairy Forest isn't far from here either. You also see Castle Town to the north. There's also a hill that you can see from here that has a treehouse on it. There's also a group of traveling Verians with two giant lions following along.

Use the Sweet Tooth again and drive to Castle Town, sending Epona back 8n the orb of course.

You head out to Sunshine Plains. Things look about the same as before. You notice the void over at Castle Town has only been growing larger this whole time. It has finally consumed the entire town. To the south, you can see King Marion's castle. To the east, you can see the Fairy Forest and Mokiri Forest. To the west, you can see the Dragon Canyon Sparky mentioned. You notice that the lion travelers are still moving through the plains. It seems that they survived whatever happened. However, they are moving on their way in the direction of the Dragon Canyon.
