Crow
You enter the giant castle town and see all kinds of different people all over the place. Animal-like people, stone people, fish people, little wooden people, normal people, elves, small goblins, and even cute animals. The bustling town seems to be a large place for trade and adventurers. You notice there are a lot of merchants and explorers everywhere. There's also some soldiers patrolling through the town as well, keeping things safe.
Sparky turns to look at you when you arrive. "Well, thanks for bringing me here! I guess this is where we split up, huh? See you guys around!" He waves and walks off.
As Sparky leaves, you realize what appears to be a husky puppy walk up to you and he starts to follow Terra around. Strange. Maybe he just thinks it's a game.

(I was going to be really disappointed if it wasn't one of the LoZ Town themes)
Terra waves and calls after Sparky. "Bye! And remember we still owe you one for earlier! You know where to find us!"
Crow leaves Terra's shoulder and attempts to ride the husky puppy.
Terra will ignore the two and approach one of the soldier patrols. "Excuse me. Could you tell me anywhere some travelers might be able to earn a few coins? Or somewhere we could find some information? We're looking for a blue-winged sage, but we don't know where to start. And we need to get some supplies."

Terra approaches one of the soldiers wearing golden armor. Her face is hidden under your helmet, but you get the feeling she's probably happy to help. "Of course. You can probably pick up some adventuring jobs in town. It's a fairly common profession here. But if you aren't capable of fighting monsters, I suggest you pick up a job from one of the shops here. The tavern and inn are hiring. Maybe you could check there. If you are looking for information, the guards here are always at your service, but there is also a rather accurate fortune teller that lives here. She lives in the building with the spinning roof. I have not seen any blue winged sages in town, but I have seen some normal mages. Perhaps they can help you? If you are looking for a place to trade, the market is a great start. You can buy nearly anything you're looking for there. Traveling merchants come in from all over the place to sell their wares. If you want me to take you anywhere or if you have anymore questions, I would be glad to help you with them."
You jump on top of the husky and start riding it around. As you pass by a group of musicians playing in the town square, the puppy begins to bark in tune with the song. It's really adorable. You notice that the puppy does not have a collar. It might not have an owner.

Crow continues to ride the puppy around. He seems quite content with this turn of events.
Terra groans at the sight, then turns back to the soldier. "No, thank you, I don't want to be a bother. If you could just point us in the direction of the nearest guild marm so we could see what they've got in the way of hunt quests?"
Terra's going to lead the pooch and see what adventurer-type jobs she can find available, but the tavern's in the back of her mind if there's nothing but Rathalos and Plesioth hunts.

"The Request Board is right over there. You can take on any jobs you want from it." She points out a large bulliten board sitting in the town square.
When you walk over and check it out, it looks like there's three available jobs. There's also two others looking at these boards. A woman with long blue hair and a black cat that sits on her shoulder lazily.
You check each job carefully. One asks to deliver goods safely to Penguin Village from here, one is about a lost child in the Mokiri Forest, and the last one asks for a Zinogre pelt, which can apparently be found in Sunshine Plains.

Terra sighs. "Well we don't know where this Penguin Village is... A Zinogre pelt, huh? I don't know what that is, but I guess we could try it?"
Crow leaves the puppy for a moment and lands on Terra's shoulder. "It's a giant wolf-like monster easily 10 times your size that shoots lightning and can take dozens of blows from a sword that weighs as much as you. While you have some talent at martial arts, a book that's good for whapping people, and the ability to summon balls of water about the size of your fist. They're capable of bringing down professional hunters, and kicking one to death - if you could read its attack patterns perfectly - would probably take days, while it would floor you with a single blow. Two or three at most. Besides, I'd have thought your immediate choice would be going after the lost kid?"
Terra blinks. "Um... Yeah, but I don't know that we can handle it, if the place is as dangerous as people say. Probably best to leave it to a professional. Also, why are you suddenly talking?"
"Because I have something to say," Crow answers. "And Miss Blue-hair and her cat look like the type that're used to the concept of familiars, so I doubt it'd disturb them. Let's take a look at the details - oh, and we'd be glad for you to join us, Miss, if you were thinking of taking this one."

The woman with blue hair looks at you for a moment. "K." That must be verification enough that she's going with you.
You check the details a bit further on the request. Apparently, a Deku Scrub wandered into the Mokiri Forest and got lost, but his family is not able to fight monsters in the forest and need the help of adventurers to find him. He likes high up places, so you might want to check in the treetops.

(Well, luck manipulation's a strong power, and K's not the type to just try to eat a bird. And La Rena's competent enough. By the way, did I get the orb and just forget about it...? And are we supposed to, like, edit our sign-in sheets with whatever we loaded into the orb? Limit of 5 items and 5 characters, right?)
Crow goes back to riding the puppy while Terra does whatever she needs to do to formally take the mission. Then, set out for Morikiri Forest! Or... Morkiri. Whatever it is.

You have access to your sphere the entire time, so you should be good. There's only a five person limit on summoned characters, but no limit on items. You just...obviously can't hold twenty of them at a time in one hand. That would be insane.

Do I need to pick them now, or throw them out when I need them...?
Either way, I don't have any items that look particularly useful for any of the other quests. So I'll stick with the kid hunt.

You just pull them out when you need them. It's pretty much instantaneous, so no need to worry about taking too much time to take it out.

Your group heads out to Mokiri Forest to accomplish their mission of finding the lost child.

Mike
Mike falls down from the sky and lands in what seems to be a large castle town. There's all kinds of different people here, but he doesn't see Ultra or Yoshi anywhere. This could be a problem. There's all kinds of different merchants and adventurers around in the town square. You even see some musicians.

Mike looks around town and finds a whole bunch of people in the town. Various guards patrol the area, a lot of different merchants are everywhere, adventurers check what looks like some kind of request board, and the musicians are playing. Maybe you should go check a specific group of people.
