Mike makes all kinds of hand motions at Mystic, but she just stares at him until he gives up and points to the inn. She then drags him over there and places him in front of the innkeep. "This guy wants to take up the job. Okay? Thanks, bye." She then heads on outside.
The Kangaskhan running the inn looks over at you. "Alright, I guess you've got the job then. Here you go, make sure you clean up the empty bedrooms. You can do the ones with guests in the morning once they leave." She hands you a mop and a broom.

Malik is pretty sure he just watched someone get hired.

Malefio walks to the counter and asks the woman in red about rumors.
Spooky flies to the man with white hair.
Spooky: "Nice cat! It does anything special?"

Malik: "This man has been cursed by someone evil, I would like to know if we could have a room for him to sleep in please. A room with only one bed should be fine, he's the only one who needs sleep."
Toriel looks at the man getting hired, smiling.

"Rumors, eh? Well, let me think. There's a bunch of rumors about the fairies going to war against some new destroyer person called Rose Carnivorous. There's also rumors that Bowser got kicked out of his castle to the south of here. I also heard something about a dragon pestering the penguin village to the north. Any of those stories interest you?"
"Why hello! Yes, this cat can do a lot of things. She's my trusted partner and we're a small group of mercenaries. If you have a job you want done, we'll do it for the right price."
"We definitely have a room open you can use. Freshly cleaned too. Do you have a way to pay for it though?"

Malefio: "Any of those happening in one if these locations: Great Bridge, Frozen Tundra, Mount Chill. Any other rumors about these locations?"
Spooky: "Hum... Malefio was talking about the Temple of Time. Would you be able to find it?"
Malik: "Hum... I have this hammer but..."
Toriel: "I have an idea. I can cook breakfast for all your employees and clients. Would you accept that as payment to help a poor soul in pain?"

"Well, the Great Bridge is pretty close to here. I haven't heard anything interesting going on about that place. The Frozen Tundra is usually pretty barren. Not a lot of people are there. I think Mount Chill is where that pesky dragon is. You'll want to be careful, yeah? If you're interested in rumors about this place, I actually heard there's a lot of concern at the castle that the King Marion guy that took over Bowser's Castle is planning to attack us though. Scary stuff, right? But I wouldn't worry about it. We've got plenty of powerful allies and I think we'd be able to take him on. Anything else you want?"
"The temple of time? I do think I heard something about that. But it's just a silly legend. Apparently there's this girl who came from the Temple of Time. We passed by her in Penguin Village. Dia? I think that was her name."
Malik
"Alright, that sounds like a fair trade to me. Here are your room keys. Enjoy your stay." She gives you a smile.
Mike
Phew, looks like Mike finally finished cleaning up all the available rooms. He'll have to come back and work in the morning to get paid, but it looks like he's got some time to do stuff tonight if he wants.

Toriel nods and smiles at the Innskeeper. They bring Anubis to the room. Toriel will try to put him to sleep with the Seashell Music box.

"Anytime, skeleton guy!" She slaps you powerfully on the back and you're pretty sure something got dislocated.
"If you head north of here, over to the Frozen Tundra, start heading west and you'll find the Penguin Village. You can see it during the day if it's not snowing too hard."
Malik
Malik and Toriel bring Anubis upstairs and put him to bed, letting him rest for the night. He still looks like he's in pain and not doing all that well, but some rest is better than none at all.

Malefio and Spooky will reunite to share information.
Malefio: "I see, maybe we should spread out once we reach the Frozen Tundra."
Spooky: "You're serious about this?"
Malefio: "You're quite ressourceful, I'm sure you can handle it."
Spooky: "Oh... Great!"
Toriel will cook all night so the butterscotch pies are ready for breakfast. Malik will use spells to try and appease Anubis while he sleeps.
(Doing nothing until morning)

well i dont have any mpney to pay for a room so i might as well...go sleep outside? i mean mike does not have an orb and is mute. so what else is he supposed to do?

You spend time relaxing until morning comes and the sun rises over the town. People start to fill the streets once again and everything seems busy here. Toriel provides butterscotch pies for breakfast and it's accepted as payment for Anubis' room.
Mike
You wake up in the morning after spending the night on a bench outside. You then head inside and finish your job at the inn, getting paid in coins. Now you can finally pay off your debt to Mystic.
