Use Necromancy to make one of wolves into an undead ally and put him in King Boo's illusion, then put King Boo back into the orb. Spooky will desummon Tirsiak. Malik will return on Epona.
Malefio calls Julia out of the orb.
Malefio: "Alright, Cyborg, can you scan West and guide us so we always go in the right direction? Julia, use Analysis to see if there's something wrong."
Cyborg: "Consider it done."
Julia: "Alright."
Cyborg will guide the group, making sure they are always going west as the necromancers suggested. Julia will use Analysis.

Malefio
You create a Zombie Wolf and store it away. Julia can tell this definitely isn't any kind of trap or anything. The forest must simply be very maze like and difficult to navigate. Cyborg shows you the way forward and you continue along until reaching what looks like a poisonous swamp. Thick, purple liquid bubbles together in what looks like a lake. You'll have to cross it somehow to move forward.
Crow
You fly off through the forest and eventually spot what looks like a bunch of large flowers. Roses, actually. But aside from that, nothing, really.
Rena stands around and looks over to Terra. "So...when do we actually do something?"

Malefio: "Thank you Cyborg and Julia, that'll be it for now."
Cyborg and Julia will go back inside the orb.
Spooky: "Why didn't we just Boom Tube to the other side?"
Malefio: "Anubis might not take Boomtubing very well..."
Spooky: "Do we really have time to NOT take risks?"
Malik: "He has a few days, I think we have the time."
Malefio: "Spooky, would you be able to have us float to the other side?"
Spooky: "You're all a bit heavy for me... Specimen 2 should be fine though. He levitates, so he won't touch that purple liquid."
Malefio: "Alright, Malik, Epona, I'll get you back out when we're on the other side."
Spooky will summon Specimen 2. He will grab Malefio first and walk accross the lake. If nothing happens, he'll go back and do the same thing with Anubis. Spooky can just teleport to the other side.

Terra will shrug. "Who knows what that damn bird is ever thinking."
Crow returns to the others and lands on the pup. "Hey. There's a bunch of roses nearby we should go check out. Unless you have any better ideas. Kinda wish we knew more about this deku shrub than 'likes high places...'"

As you cross the strange lake, you see what looks like a bunch of boos floating around. "So what does the big boo boss say?"
"We managed to break into the fairy lands. It's true! The great and mighty Mark has taken Solaria and turned her over to our side! He says she's changed her ways!"
"Mark has that handy editing skill, huh? You think he can just make whoever he wants into his ally? I mean, Solaria's pretty tough."
"Probably. Just look how far he got by now. Oh, and her new name is Rose Carnivorous! That's what we're supposed to call her!"
"Right, right. I hope I don't mess up in front of her."
"I heard she EATS people she doesn't like or that get in her way. One time she kidnapped this Deku Scrub and..."
"Shh! I think I hear someone coming!" The boos disappear as you bring your allies across the lake. When you place them safely on the ground, you see no signs of the boos around and check carefully using Cyborg to scan again. Nope, they're gone.
Crow
When you say something about liking high places, La Rena looks up at the trees. "...Up there." She hops up into the trees and follows you from up there. You lead everyone back to the mysterious roses afterward. That's odd. It looks like they moved...

Wait. Let's be somewhat smart about this. Stay at a safe distance and use telekinesis and a big stick to-
Wait. Let's let Terra do something useful. Have Terra summon a head-sized sphere of water over the thing and drop it. If that doesn't provoke a reaction, then poke it with a stick.

Crow
Terra drops a sphere of water on the roses before a thorn covered vine whips out and snatches onto her from one of them!
Terra is lifted into the air and held over what looks like the toothy, gaping maw of a monster. The roses reveal their true identity as man eating plants. Their thorned vines swing around, attempting to grab anything that gets close. "Tangleroses." Rena shoots the vines that are holding Terra and frees her before she's eaten. It looks like there's about seven Tangleroses here. As you prepare to fight them off, you notice what looks like a skeleton walking in through the fog. He's followed by a ghost and a horse that's carrying some guy surrounded in a dark aura.
Malefio
You continue on westward and eventually come across what looks like a group of adventurers fighting man eating plants. It looks like they only recently engaged in battle and there's seven plants.

Alright. Everyone and everything back inside the orb, except Malik and Epona. Malik will equip Hammer again and defend Anubis. Spooky will go in Halloween form. Malefio will send out the three undead fire wolves.
Spooky will teleport in the center of the plants and spin with her scythe to hit all enemies, they fly up to avoid a retaliation. The wolves are ordered to use fire attacks on the plants.
(I'll consider "Necromancy" as an attack, so Malefio ordering undead will be considered as his action.)

Five wolves all jump out from the bushes and let out a loud howl. You quickly create a blizzard in the area as snow falls from the sky and strong winds blow. Tirsiak summons wolves of her own and it seems like both sets of wolves cancel out each others attacks evenly. However, Cyborg manages to take one of the enemy wolves down by shooting them with his gun. There's four wolves left. It looks like you should be able to edit this type of enemy if you weaken it first as well... Five. |

Note addendum: Terra makes excellent bait.
Seven roses, a skeleton, a ghost, and a horse... That's a few too many enemies for my taste...
...Oh, the skeleton's not an indigenous monster. And is fighting the roses. OK.
Crow will perch innocently on a branch and summon Grace to use Icy Wind. Terra will fall back, rip off the bottom of her dress, and wrap it around her hands so she can grab the thorny vines. Then Crow will remember to check his inventory and toss her the Doom Gloves.
"Wh- NEXT TIME GIVE ME THE GLOVES BEFORE I RUIN MY DRESS! We're going to go back and fix this thing as soon as we're done with this, you...! STUPID...! BIRD!" Terra yells. She throws on the gloves, grabs the nearest vine, and starts ripping and tearing.

Dry Bowser and King Boo will come out, shooting homing blue flames at the Tangleroses. Malefio will use the Iron Sword and try cutting a Tanglerose.
