"Kick, did you bring Reese out adventuring while she was drunk...?" "I don't decide anything involving Reese. I think she follows me to have a designated adventurer. And I don't remember the last time I saw Reese sober..."

"Alright everyone, hold on." (Once everyone has a good enough grip that they won't fall off) "Now, Phoenix!!!"

(I'm going to assume Aven chose to hold on rather than fall off. Since Lupis already gave Phoenix the ok.)
Phoenix flaps his powerful wings, letting out a loud screech as a magic circle appears over Ifrit. A flaming meteor comes crashing down slowly from the circle, hitting Ifrit. The beast grabs the meteor as it smashes into him. Ifrit manages to break apart the meteor with his powerful claws. It looked like that giant, flaming rock did some damage though. Ifrit is breathing heavy.

"Well captain, are we moving in?" Reese will attempt an attack with the Vulcan Hammer. Kick will attempt Electro Shock on the Ifrit.

"Well captain, are we moving in?" Reese will attempt an attack with the Vulcan Hammer. Kick will attempt Electro Shock on the Ifrit. "Actually, it may be smarter to fight from a distance right now. Ifrit look like it's wearing out, so it probably won't be able to breathe fire breath anymore. If we keep our distance for now and attack with magic, it won't be able to do anything to fight back. Still, everyone stay behind me. If I'm wrong, I should at least be able to minimize the damage with my Flameproof Shield." Lupis defends. Sylvia uses Water Blast (I think she has about 2 more uses of it). If you guys don't agree with this plan, we will move in and Lupis will use Double Attack instead of defending. I'm trying to minimize the damage we take here , but moving in to melee range would help us end this quicker, so they both have merits.

"I'm not sure about that... The Ifrit could pull out a last resort attack at this point. But, I'm going to put my trust in you." Kick will still attack with Electro Blast, and Reese will attack with Simple Zap.

Use Electro Shock if we are still at range (hold on if that is the auto option for that stage)

Phoenix stays back from Ifrit as Sylvia and Tren use another Water Blast. Kick and Aven then follow up with Electro Shock. Ifrit seems to be ignoring them and focuses all of his energy into his next move. Ifrit begins to glow as energy flows through him. Ifrit seems nearly out of breath as the light intensifies around him. "Lupis, Ifrit is about to self destruct! We can either go for the final charge or run away, but if he hits us with that attack, we won't survive."
WARNING: If you run from this battle, you CANNOT get the Ifrit summon.

What do you guys think? Honestly, I'm not sure I want to risk losing every single one of our characters just for a potential summon that will one-shot us all if we don't do enough damage. We came here to get Volcanite, and as long as we obtained that I'm happy.
