The Lost Kingdom

"Hmm...maybe the floral petals are used as a conduit or gathering means for its solar attacks. If we are going to capture it and turn it toward our cause we need to show it who's boss. That means we are going to have to disable it, and what better way to do that then potentially stripping it of its means of attack?"

Lupis focuses in closely on his opponent as the others all wait. After a few minutes, Lupis charges forward and jabs with his lance, piercing the flower's stem. As he takes out the lance, a thick, green liquid coats his lance. Sylvia then throws a Fireball at the open injury as Joey and Aven use their Double Attack to break apart some petals. Cheri gathers some of the green liquid from the Florea. The Florea creates a strange roar and begins gathering light with its petals left. Lupis quickly gathers up sticks and leaves, creating a small, wooden barrier. Everyone quickly jumps behind it as Sylvia launches one last Fireball. Then as Joey is busy singing, a blast of light envelopes the area. Lupis, Joey, and Sylvia are all burned somewhat and Aven and Cheri seem unharmed. Aven then uses another Double Attack to chop off the petals left, leaving it unable to attack. Cheri then walks up to the Florea and offers the bouquet. The Florea accepts it and absorbs it. The Florea then heals itself using the bouquet and begins to follow the group. It seems to be tamed.

S: "Alright, I guess I won't ask."
Lupis and Sylvia hi-five each other, and Sylvia looks over to see if Squishy (the slime she tamed) is okay.

L (completely unfazed by Joey violently shaking him around and screaming, because he's honestly used to it by now): "Doesn't it not work around closed-minded people? We'll let you work in peace and come back in a few minutes to see how it's coming along."
While walking to an area where Joey's shenanigans are out of their view, Sylvia quietly whispers to Lupis.
S: "Is he always like that?"
L: "You would be surprised how quickly you'll get used to it."

Joey immediately calls Cheri over to work with him.

" Now, Cheri, we will use science to make this thing gigantic! So, we need to limit it from all sunlight and soil!"

Joey immediately imagines a building with thick, metal walls that blocks incoming light with a metal floor around the Florea. It's square, and has a small hole with a lens on it at the top. He also imagines a metal latter and some buckets full of stuff.

" Now, after I use this latter to climb the building, I need you to hand me those buckets of minerals and come up here with me."

After all of that is done, Joey will quickly take off the lens and starts pouring the liquid into the hole while blocking all sunlight from getting in.

" This creature should absorb these minerals and become large and powerful."

After pouring all of the minerals down the hole, Joey will close the hole with the lens and get himself down. He will also ask for Cheri to get down. After that, he will wait for a couple of minutes for the minerals to soak in. Then he will demolish the building using his powers and hopefully look at a gigantic Florea minion.

Lupis and Sylvia motion over to Aven to follow them as they go to talk to the quest giver.
L (to the quest giver): "We managed to tame a Florea. Currently Joey is doing... something to make it grow bigger. I've learned not to question his methods and just go with the results, so if it all goes well, we should have a giant Florea soon."

"Don't worry, I don't mind. As long as you're careful to keep them from causing fires and keep the Dark Lords from getting to them. They might actually be really helpful to the adventurers!" Once the king finishes, the elf returns in a flash of light, telling him that the room is ready. "Oh, thank you. Your room is ready, Treblig, so you can head on over there when you're ready and set up shop. I told the innkeeper you were coming, so say hi. If you have any questions, just ask Sylvera. I've got to go check on a few things." The king then walks on out the door, waving to Treblig.

Joey quickly creates his construct and materials as Cheri helps out with carrying some things around. After pouring in their ingredients, Joey notices something strange. Cheri must have accidentally put something else in! A small explosion goes off, but is luckily stopped by the construct. Joey then carefully takes away the construct as it reveals the Florea. It isn't a Florea though. A lion that seems to be made from flowers is standing where the Florea once was. It is larger than the Florea and about the size of that Chimera Lupis once fought. "Oh, sorry. I think I did that. I wanted to make it a special flower, so I added a flower Mr. Pooky uses a lot in Potions. Moondrop Flowers. I thought it would make it stronger. Sorry, Joey." It isn't the expected result, but what's not cool about a flower lion that can shoot sun beams?

"Wow, that was fast." Karin takes out a bag of Gold and hands it to Lupis. "Make sure to split it among everyone. It took me a while to save up that much. I'll go on back to town then. Have fun taming monsters!" She walks off to town as you all hear an explosion nearby...

A and Space walk past the Engineer's room and notice he's putting some kind of...thing together. It's always hard to tell what it is while he's making it.
