Treblig notices Lupis and jumps of happiness!
"Hey there! You're my first customer from this area. You are intrested in that baby dragon? Well, let's bargain! This is a living being, which will be loyal until it's last breath. I would usually ask around 100 gold, but since you're my first customer... Hum... How about 75?"
(By the way, do I have to go on an adventure to get more stock, or I just add some whenever I want to?)

"75 sounds great, actually! So, is it male or female? I need to know so I can name it." Lupis pays Treblig 75 gold and kneels down to pet his newly purchased baby dragon. (Don't worry too much about gender, I have both a male name and a female name picked out.)

I guess you can give it the name you want!"

(Wow, 75 Gold! That's a pretty cheap dragon! You can add stock whenever you want to. Shopkeepers were made to be more of a casual character.)

I'm new to this this game, so I don't know what is a low price and what is a high price xd I just saw he had 400 Gold, so I said: "heh, I guess 25% is ok.")

(If you want to sort of gauge it, they usually make about 100G per day. You can also look at the other shops to see the pricing a of their weapons and equipment.)

(I'm unsure how much the soup costs.)

"In that case, I'll name it Kain." (Now that I'm starting to learn about Final Fantasy thanks to Record Keeper, I figure I may as well name the dragon after a dragoon who has been an integral part of my team, even if he is a traitor in the game he is from. After all, this game is based on Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles)

(Actually, the Dark Lords' methods of monster control could make him end up exactly like Kain. But don't worry, because spoilers spoilers spoilers. FFIV spoilers, not Lost Kingdom.)

They can even control pets not found as monsters?!? That seems a bit unfair to let them turn anything against us and force us to kill our own pets... Especially since that's exactly the kind of thing Pie would do. Can I bring it to Pheonix to have him do the same thing he did for the Goblin Brigade?)

Actually, Phoenix hasn't done anything with the Goblins yet. Nobody asked him.

Actually, Phoenix hasn't done anything with the Goblins yet. Nobody asked him. In that case, Lupis will still talk to him and ask if he can place any kind of protection over Kain. I'm pretty much guaranteed to grow attached to this dragon, so I would rather not have to kill it later.
