Malik runs to the defeated bush and gathers a Red Berry! What does this do? Meanwhile, Reese uses a Wave Slash on the Fanged Bear, hitting the last bush as well by accident. The fangs still seem intact though. Yura and Azure quickly clean up the last bush before doing a dual pose!

Tren uses a Fireball on the Fanged Bear and it seems extra effective! The bear still has some fighting spirit and bites Reese before Yura can quickly finish it up. The group is satisfied with their victory and moves on. (Unless a certain favorite player wants to gather something else '~') The group soon reaches a part of the forest with a deep mud pit. If you try to walk through that...you'll definitely get stuck. There doesn't look like an obvious way around it either. How are you gonna pass this pit?
Kick, Sylvia, and Aven start throwing spells out at their enemies as Lupis follows up with a Multi Attack, defeating the Magma Slime, but the Bomb seems to have barely survived! It explodes in fear and the whole party takes some pretty bad damage. Kain seems busy watching a butterfly to help...
(Don't forget to command your pets or they might get distracted!)
Either way, the enemies are beaten and you continue your climb to the top. There you can see two Floreas basking in the sun. Yep, they look different than normal ones with orange leaves and red flower petals instead of green and pink. That must be the new kind of Florea Phoenix mentioned. They must have been sitting in the sun for a while...maybe charging straight in isn't a good idea.

Reese: "If I had mo' brew, I could drown dis pit up in dat shit."
(OH GOD NO I'LL STOP)
Reese: "If I 'ad more booze, eid flood dis pit widdat stuff. Yee, clean dis pit riiiiiiiight up..."
Azure: "Hey Tren, mind trying Water Blast on this pit? Couldn't hurt."
Kick: "Hm. Would anybody prefer a Fuse or Speed Up spell from me before we start our assault?"

"Sure, I'll try, but won't that just make more mud?" Tren splashes the mud and...not much happens aside from Reese getting a face full of mud splahed up from the pit...

Azure will slowly dip and retreat her sword into the mud to judge how deep the mud pit truly is.

Lupis: "That could definitely help, but I think I have an idea to add on to that. Which of us is the fastest? We could have them draw the attention of one of them or both and dodge the laser(s) thanks to the speed boost, at which point the rest of us barrage one of them with Electro Shocks, physical attacks, and in Kain's case biting since I'm willing to bet fire won't do much and water could honestly go either way with them being plants. If we're lucky we can kill one of them before they get another shot off, and then I'll have a Makeshift Shield up and hold my Flameproof Shield out so you guys can get behind me while I take the majority of the other one's attack. After that Sylvia will heal me unless someone else is in worse condition, and then we rush down the other one."
While they're planning, Sylvia will quietly cast Magic Strengthen on herself, Kick, and Aven and then heals everyone up to get ready.

Kick: "Well, I believe I'm the fastest with these Dash Shoes equipped, and with the aid of a Speed Up spell, they won't lay a single blow upon me."
Kick will cast Speed Up on himself, then move slightly away from his group of allies so the Floreas won't spot them along with him. Kick will fire Shattering Ice at both Floreas while keeping on the move and avoiding attacks.

Lupis, Sylvia, and Kain all get ready to do their jobs (Lupis gets in a quick attack and then sets up a makeshift shield that the party gets behind with him in front holding out his Flameproof Shield, Sylvia pokes up from above the shield and uses Electro Shock until they're almost done charging at which point she ducks behind Lupis since her Fireproof hat and robe means that she could probably tank their attack best after Lupis, Kain bites the Florea that everyone is concentrating on and then flies behind the Makeshift Shield) after both Floreas have wasted their attacks and very obviously look like they can't just fire another one immediately.

The group prepares themselves for battle as they all cast multiple spells before Kick charges in, dodging a blazing laser before diving to avoid another! With the Floreas having shot their powerful attacks, Lupis moves in and lands a quick jab of his lance before creating a wall of hot rocks to hide behind. Sylvia quickly dives behind the shield while shooting an Electro Shock into one of the Floreas. Aven then uses a quick fusion Double Attack on one of the Floreas before Kick uses Shattering Ice, causing a large spire of ice to come up out of the ground and break into many pieces, raining down on the Floreas. One of them falls defeated before Kain takes out the other, chomping down on the petals of it. Just as the group walks toward the two defeated Floreas to gather the materials, two more seem to have appeared! These ones start charging up a powerful attack as well and seeing as they just watched your last battle, the same tactics won't likely work again!
