Aven assists in focus firing down a Fire Florea with double attack (maybe aiming to disrupt move via petals?)

Lupis sets up multiple Makeshift Shields behind the first one.
"Spellcasters, back here!"
Sylvia decides to see if Water Blast will do anything (they are fire enemies, after all), or if she should stick with Electro Shock. After the lasers finish blasting at him (Lupis doesn't have taunt, but he will try to perform an impromptu taunt by throwing rocks at them to get them angry at him) he will Focus Attack through whatever is left of his Makeshift Shields at whichever one of them has more health.

They're fire elemental and live on a volcano. More than likely that will do nothing at best and heal them at worst. Perhaps an Electro Shock or Water Blast? |

I don't remember where the forest group left off, but I'm pretty sure the last suggestion was to use fire.
Tren uses his spells to create fire on the mud and as it dries up, a bridge is made to cross the mud pit. The group quickly moves across the bridge to find the snake's den up ahead. They ll carefully enter, looking around in the small cave, finding nothing of interest. There's gotta be a snake in here SOMEWHERE.
Lupis quickly makes another wall behind him as the Kick and Aven jump behind it. The Floreas charge up their attacks, shooting at the barriers. While Kick and Aven are safe, Lupis, Sylvia, and Kain's wall breaks apart and though the attack is weakened, the sun beam still does some damage. Sylvia quickly shoots a Water Blast at one of the Floreas, catching it off guard and the attack is quickly followed up by the others. Kick shoots a Water Blast as well and Aven runs in, cutting the petals off of the undamaged Florea to disable its lasers. As Kick fuses Dark Blast in his sword, he attacks the weakened Florea, causing it to explode with darkness from the inside. Kain takes care of the other Florea, holding it in place while chomping on it as Lupis uses his Focus Attack to land the finishing blow! That's four Floreas defeated! Four should be enough since Kain most likely doesn't need the shoes seeing as he can fly. Are you all ready to turn in the quest?

Out of curiosity, how much did those lasers do to Lupis and Sylvia? More specifically, I'm kind of curious about what they did to Sylvia. With two Makeshift Shields and Lupis guarding with his Flameproof Shield in front of her plus her wearing a fire resistant hat and cloak, I would honestly be surprised if that did anything more than scratch damage.

Malik will stay at the entrance/exit of the cave and try to spot snakes coming out.

The group returns to town, giving their found hides to Garren. "Hey, these aren't that bad. Let's see what I can make out of them." Garren heads in the back and gets to work making the shoes before returning and handing a pair to everyone. "These are Trap Boots. They'll protect you against any dangerous terrain like if there are spikes on the ground or if the ground is on fire. Take good care of them. I know you'll find them useful. Oh, and here's a reward for helping me out." Garren gives you each 100 Gold! That makes today's mission complete.
