Cedar has made his home in a giant cactus somewhere in the cactus forest. Apparently, he is something called a Tuner. A letter he received earlier during the week told him so. Seems like someone is gonna pick him up to teach him how to become an explorer?
Cedar wakes up and he notices he hears music coming from inside him and every object in his cactus home. Nascha seems to have a unique music coming out from her.
Of course, she was already awake when Cedar woke up. (Of course, you control your familiar) Cedar is quite confused about hearing all this music.

(Out of curiosity, is there any reason it's a cactus forest? I was more thinking a regular forest.)

(Owls live in cactuses, wanted to base your island about trees/plants, but make it somewhat unique, since Just's island was forest based too. There is normal trees amongst the cactuses though.)

(Except while great horned owls can be found in deserts it's one of the rarer environments to find them in, while lions typically live in savannas or grasslands with forest dwelling lions beings much rarer. There's also the fact that a cactus forest isn't really a forest so much as a desert with a bunch of cacti and some trees, which is a completely different ecosystem.)

(Nah, it's not a desert. It's a normal forest with cactuses to make the area more unique)

You walk outside, noticing an air balloon starting to land in front of your giant cactus home. You're quickly hit by a terrible headache as you start hearing songs coming from everywhere. You wake up some times after... You're obviously in the air. As you take your bearings, you quickly see that Nascha is with you. There's also some guy with white hair and a monocle, dressed as a Butler. He neither seems old nor young. You can't put a finger on what age he would be. Harry: "My! My! You are wake. I have given you an orb. You will now be able to decide what song you can and cannot hear. You shouldn't pass out from a headache again. Oh my... Sorry about my manners, I am Harry. I am not a Tuner, but I will be in charge of taking care of all needs your team of explorers will... well... "need". While we make our way to the Island of Courage, I will teach you a thing or two. I can also ask any question you have." Harry takes out a grey book and puts it on the air balloon's floor. Harry: "The musical energy of this object has expired. This is why it became grey. (If I ever made a mistake about how air balloons work, assume Harry explained the process accurately) Harry seems baffled at Cedar's question. He even takes a few steps back. Harry: "I'm sorry? I'm teaching you about your powers but you are interested in how an air balloon functions? Bloody Hell... Well young Cedar, the fire over there sends air into the balloon, the balloon makes the gondola go up, the lest bags lets you control the height at which you want the balloon to be. Cedar nods, then after remembering what he was told to do plays his song in order to place it in the book.
(Quick update, since something felt off I looked through Cesar's original bio and as it turns out I listed his age incorrectly. He's supposed to be somewhere around 13 years old, not 15.)

Cedar sends his theme into the book on the ground, the cover becomes made of wood and a vine comes out of the top, to be used as a bookmark. Harry: "This is your notebook now, you should keep it to take notes. Well, moving on. You have a song remover yes? Is it your necklace? Hmmm... This should be easy for you. You just have to touch something for like 5 seconds to remove the them from it... It'll go directly into your orb and you will be able to put that theme in a grey object afterwards. You need something to test that..." Harry grabs a lest bag and throws it at Cedar. Harry: "There you go, try with this. One more bag, one less bag, we should be fine. You touch the lest bag for exactly 5 seconds before it's colors drain and it becomes grey. The energy coming out of the bag goes right into your orb. Harry: "There, you did it! Note that you can do the same with living beings, but they need to be willing to have their song taken. And please give them a song back. Don't leave them rotting on the floor. Otherwise your next song insertion will be affected by "Bad Karma". It won't have the effect you were looking for. Your familiar should always be willing, you can change her song anytime. Objects change depending on the song you put in them. You can play around with the lest bag if you want." Cedar notices they are approaching an Island.
