Thomas is woken up by his own theme... It is the first time he's hearing it though. Cannot be a coincidence. He just had ha dream. A dream where he was told someone was coming to get him. The dream told him he was a Tuner, the protector of his island. However, they want him to be part of a group. Whoever "they" is. The dream said they were coming today. Thomas better get ready. He notices that every object in his room is also filled by his own theme... There is a single unique one, coming closer and closer...
Gabrielle appears in front of him. The music is coming from her. Thomas feels a bit of relief. She's coming with him right? (Of course, you control your familiar.)
Thomas can hear the mansion move. Normal. He just woke up.

"What an eerie Tune..." Thomas states as he hears his own Theme play.
Thomas gives a weak smile to Gabrielle, "Well... I guess we should get ready, huh?" The apparition doesn't answer him, instead she just stares as Thomas packs his worn, bible, written In Latin and the old guitar that his sister had once given him. "I don't have much else to take... do you want to take something?"
Thomas walks through the dark mansion with a candle, many pictures and paintings can be seen on the walls, most of them are family members or family friends, other are still life's of strange objects. One of them seem to be a crow-man...
He makes it to Gabrielle's old room, where he shines the light from the candle about. Many porcelain dolls lay at the edges of the room, their faces cracked from age. One blinks at him as the candle light passes over it. He a single black case. Inside of it is a porcelain doll, untouched by the passages of time... it's innocence radiates throughout the room.
"There we go! I bet you'd like to have this.. it looks just like you, black hair and everything!" He packs the doll away as well before heading to the foyer. "I guess we'll wait in here..."

There's a knock on the door, it seems to be done by someone with barely any strenght left.
??: "Ahoy kid! It's me! Old man Lart! You want to open up! I received instructions from a weird guy with a tribal mask. I need to teach you the things on this paper right here and give you an orb."
Old Man Lart is the owner of the lighthouse. He was always the only one unafraid of walking up to your estate. He'd rarely actually enter, but he's the only visit you ever had.

"Old man Lart? I haven't seen you in ages!" Thomas greets him as he opens the door.

Thomas opens the door, still hearing his theme from everywhere. Old Man Lart enters with no hesitation, he seems too preoccupied reading the papers he has in hands to even notice he walked in. His long brown coat and his hat drips on the ground, as the brown bearded old man puts on glasses and look at Thomas. You can hear music coming from him too. Lart: "Hmmm... Yes. Indeed. I need to give you this weird orb." He hands Thomas an orb. Thomas stops hearing any music. Lart looks at the sheets again. Lart: "I see... I see... Listen up kid. This... song orb? Whatever. That thing I just gave you. It's... Hmmm... Right. It lets Tuners decide what song they want to hear. Prevents them from passing out. Hearing too many songs at once can cause a Tuner to fall unconscious... What's next? Ha... This orb can also contain songs. It'll be important for later... I think." The old man looks at the sheet he was reading extensively, to make sure he didn't forget any detail. Lart: "I think that's it for the orb? Right... The book..." Lart takes out a book and holds it in his hands. It is grey. Lart: "Hmmm... Grey objects have no song in them... Paper says to send your theme inside it... Should... You send your theme inside the book. It's cover becomes somewhat fleshy. An eye pops out of it, looking at you. Lart: "Oh... That looks kinda creepy... So the notes are saying you can take notes in this book... It's important for your adventure. Hmm... Alright, last thing I need to tell you is that you can remove song from objects and they will go inside your orb. But I have no idea what your "Song Remover" is or how it would work..." Lart suddenly notices he's inside and seems to lose his patience. Lart: "Okay... I obviously have no idea what I'm doing. I'll wait outside. Tell me when you're ready to get on that boat. "I don't know when we'll be coming back gabby... lets read a passage from our bible! He flips to "Chronicles 20:28" and begins to read the Latin verse.
"Lets go Gabrielle, my dear sister..." The apparition smiles and follows him as he goes outside to the boat...

Thomas goes outside the Smith's Estate, looking at it one last time. Lart signals him to follow, leading it through Lighthouse Outpost. The people living in it, called Watchers all look at Thomas pass by, looking at him with disgust, maybe even a bit of fear. They all have music inside of them, but Lart doesn't give time for Thomas to stop in town. They pass the coastal village until they reach the actual lighthouse. Lart stops in front of the boat. A young man stands in front of a big boat, which could be mistaken for a pirate boat. The man wears a tribal mask and some kind of pants made out of leaves. The man gives a hand to Thomas. Milton: "Hello there Thomas! My name is Milton, I am a Tuner too. I will help you and your fellow explorers with your training once we reach your own special headquarters island. Are you ready to go? By the way... How does that thing work?" Milton seems to be referring to the Lighthouse. ---Songs--- Thomas: Gabriel: Old Man Lart: Milton: |

Milton: "Onwards then!" Milton guides Thomas into the ship. The tribal man seems to be looking in the direction of Gabriel in confusion. Milton: "Huh? Where is your familiar? I can hear it's theme, but I can't see it..." Lart: "Ahoy kids! Be careful during your travel!" Lart waves at you, but it seems to be in indifference. Just to be polite. As you get further and further from the boat, you can see your home island becoming smaller and smaller. It looks quite ominous from afar. The waves crashes into this giant rock, only lighted by the lighthouse. There are barrels all over the ship... But no one has his hands on the rudder... Also, the wind seems to be coming from the opposite direction you're going in... Thomas is a bit too young to know the laws of physics, but he knows that doesn't make sense... "Well... I'm not sure... Gabby do you know?" Thomas, says, turning to ask the apparition of his sister, but to anyone else it appears as if he is talking to thin air.
