"Meow," the cat insists.


Francis and Kayla

Tana holds up a finger to tell you to wait as she tosses back her drink and chugs it all at once. She slams her glass down and sighs in satisfaction, waving at the bartender and signalling for another. "Now ya know I can't... can't talk 'bout that shorta ongoin' 'vestigation," she says to Francis. A slight slur is noticeable in her speech.


Cyrus

"That's..." Lizzy trails off. She thinks deeply for a few seconds, then shakes her head. "That's... really personal."

Francis

Is impressed by Tana's ability to guzzle alcohol.

Oh well what if I told you I was involved in that investigation. That I was the one that stoped the guy from mugging the security officer. I even have a name and his story on why he did it would that be of interest to you.


Francis proceeds to inhale her burger (Kirby Style) before downing her glass of water.

Swaltzer

You attempt to ignore the cat.
The cat does not appreciate this.
It continues to sit in front of you and swish its tail angrily.
"Meow."


Kayla and Francis

"We know the guy's name," Tana says.  She's already halfway through her next drink.  "And you shouln't go'n do shtuff lie that.  's dan'rous.  Leave it to 's 'fessionals..."

Tana slams down another empty glass and gets ready to order a new drink, then blinks for a few seconds as she notices someone new behind the bar.

"Oh, yeah," she says.  She leans on Kayla a bit.  "Th... Now I rembr why I picked this place...  Th' guy 'hind the countr want... wantsh t' talk t' ya..."

You both notice the guy behind the counter looks a bit familiar.


Cyrus

You head downstairs and get to work just in time for the late-night rush.  You notice a trio of ladies in the corner.  One seems to have a real stick up her ass, but one looks like she's trying to stuff an entire burger in her mouth and the third's clearly enjoying herself with a tray of nachos.  Actually, they look kinda familiar.  Oh, the one that's a bit sloshed and leaning on Ms. Stick is that officer from earlier.  She looks different out of uniform.  She's pointing at you and muttering to the others.

You vaguely feel like you know the others from somewhere...  Actually, you're almost sure of it.

Swaltzer

The cat immediately perks up.

Kayla looks at Tana drinking so much and judges she's at fault here, so she decides to directly meet the mysterious person, without saying a word.
