You look closer. The trees part up ahead into a glade. The glinting looks like... dewdrops or specks of dust or something floating in the air. It's too far away to make out clearly.
(By the way, if you want to sneak or run or something, you should say. Otherwise I'll assume you're just walking.)

You stalk towards the glade as quietly as possible, struggling to get a better look at what's shining. When you get closer, you realize it's a bunch of dew floating in mid-air. When you draw closer, you realize it's just clinging to a very large spiderweb. Nothing magical about it. You feel a bit dejected.

Ignatius gets up, looking in the direction of the laughter with a slightly annoyed expression while picking the last of the spiderweb off of his face.

The laughter stops abruptly. You can still see the same faint shimmer, but it's now slowly drifting away. Almost like it's trying to sneak off as you finish freeing yourself.

The glimmer continues slowly drifting away. You start to follow, and it starts moving very rapidly while letting out a panicked shriek.
Ignatius' Luck check: 24/80 - Great Success
And it flies straight into the remains of that spiderweb. "Wh-!? Nnngh!" A small, humanoid figure slowly starts to become visible. It looks like a young, red-headed woman in a blue leotard, except about half a foot tall and... with beautiful, translucent wings poking out of her back. She's hopelessly tangled in the web, grunting and struggling to free herself.

"I... can... do it... myself...!" she insists. She's... just making it worse and getting herself more stuck. She suddenly freezes. "W-wait... Y-you can see me!?" She tries to look over her shoulder, but can't move enough. "Y-you're planning to eat me, aren't you...!? Just like that other human! W-well, fine! Just get... get it over with...!" She looks like she's trying very, very hard not to cry. And it's not working at all.

Ignatius stares at her with a befuddled expression before saying something.
"Wait, you don't seriously think I'm going to eat you, do you? I'm pretty sure you're close enough to being human to count as cannibalism, and I'm nowhere near that desperate. Like I said, all I want is to ask you some questions, and I'm getting tired of repeating myself. Now, seeing how you're only making things worse flailing around like that and I bet the spider that made this web isn't as picky about what they eat do we have a deal?"

"I'm not supposed to talk to humans... And you can't scare me! There's no spider here, so myeh!" She wiggles a bit, turning just enough to stick her tongue out at you. You hope it's worth it. That little maneuver put her in an even worse way.

Attracted by the wiggling, a very, very large spider appears in the corner of the web. You wonder if it might actually be big enough to eat her.
"...Ah? Ah!" she starts squirming again. The spider reacts immediately, turning to face her with a twitch. "Um... H-hey... Y-you wouldn't..."
...It occurs to you that negotiations have suddenly swung pretty heavily in your favor. You could really twist her arm, if you want. Or you could just walk away, considering how rude she's been.

If she agrees, cut the web (at an area far enough around her that I don't risk hurting her) so that the part she's on falls away from the part with the spider, then catch her since she's still going to be tangled up most likely.

You arrive at the university. This time, you know exactly where to go to find Delia's lab. You walk up and knock on the door. You hear a loud clattering. "Unnnnnngh... Whaaaaaat?" a flustered voice calls out.

"Mmmmph... Ngh...!" She's so tangled at this point that she can't even struggle properly.
