Flying Pegawhalebot flies you down to the ocean. There's a lot of water here. You notice what looks like a pirate ship off in the distance. There's also an island to the west, not far from here. You can also go to the port of the bandit hideout. There might be something interesting underwater too, but you'd have to get there first.
